BMW and M Power Owners

My dad has a Cayenne diesel and has had an adblue leak. Needed the entire system replacing outside of warranty.

Do you know how much it set him back?

Apologies if I missed it, but is a 3 series touring not big enough?

Not really. We go climbing so we have large bouldering mats and we will be taking things like bikes and sports equipment abroad. The 3008 has a big boot so we don't want to downsize. We already have a massive roofbox to fit all our crap in when we go on holiday.

I’m currently looking at part exchanging my G80 and am seriously considering the G90 M5/G91. Was originally looking at the RS6 Vorsprung but with the black pack it’s higher in price and the Audi APR is higher.

The only worry I have is the battery and how it will hold up over time and the depreciation. There are some brand new on AT that have dropped significantly already and I have a feeling this will get worse over the next few months.

What is your worry with the battery? My F90 is a 21plate and the battery is still going strong. I get that it is expensive to replace (£800 ish) as it is a Li-Ion but considering the purchase price of the cars you are looking at and that you will pay £600 a year to tax it and about £950 a year for a warranty, the battery doesn’t seem much of a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Edit: I presume you meant the F90 as the new one doesn’t have a Comp version yet and I don’t think there will be one.

It’s more with it being a hybrid. My concern is that the battery loses life over time, as it is with full EV vehicles. This could make these cars lose even more value in the future and certainly be a cause of concern when selling.

Ah ok, you meant the new G90. There isn’t a Comp version and I don’t think there will be. Sorry no idea about the battery on that car

Morning Gents, I’ve managed to get a laptop with an Ethernet port and an OBD cable, I’d like to see if I can look at some coding on my 530D which is the best application for a laptop? Thanks

Bought my first BMW yesterday.

Literally spent months pondering ( Here) and came close to buying a more sensible 320i on more than one occasion. But they had either sold or the dealer didn't make any contact after initial inquiry. Also nearly bought a Jaguar XE, but that also sold. Ended up with a 435i M Sport and I am really, really happy with it.

Gran Coupe?

No.

But I had this in my shortlist and probably would've bought it had I not bought the one pictured.

Not such a fan of that one. The black wheels on grey don't look good IMO and the interior definitely looks like a black hole inside. It desperately needs the aluminium trim to lift it and add something that's not black. My interior is black and I'm forever grateful that the original owner specced the metal trim, it lifts the interior so much IMO.

I'm the opposite, I've got a thing for black wheels.
