Mostly positive reviews looking at those metacritic scores. Looking at the review history of the author of that Eurogamer review I cant say that I am surprised at her review, but ignoring that, the metacritic reviews look promising. 80% positive reviews is pretty decent for a turn based game. I'm more interested in what the thoughts of people like Yogcast, Dansgaming , ACG etc are, people with a history of enjoying strategy titles.
Overall pretty promising, decent review from Jumbo (who is a longtime player of Civ 4, 5 and 6)
He hasnt yet done a full review but he did seem to enjoy it in the videos he has released so far, saying that its harder to learn than previous Civs but he likes that.

Reading about the game has got that hunger coming back to play it but I think what I should actually do is give civ 6 a chance, I think I have all the doodads for it

I’ll get them watched but man that’s an annoying way to review something. Will he go fit the third one to weigh up positives v negatives to give a real review I wonder
Now we'll find out whether or not the old claim that negative videos always get more hits than positive videos proves to be true
