the GPX Superlight 2 acts the same as Razers Scroll Wheel.
You said earlier it was like my hybrid Logitech.
It is "Tactile" but only very subtle, so when scrolling webpages you have to scroll slowly to feel the feint individual notches but if you speed up it then "Spins" and you can't track the notches.
Hence I was wondering if I should have got that...

If you spin hard one way, does it actually spin or stop dead?

I want to get the new Keychron productivity mouse as it's got a 1000Hz 3395 sensor so could replace my MX Master 3S but hate that the material quality isn't up to scratch having watched a bunch of reviews. Shame really as I don't like that Logitech only put a 125Hz polling rate on this and it stutters the cursor due to a bad scan rate, something Logitech should have fixed long ago.
Maybe gen 2 of the Keychron will fix the cheap quality plastic and then the time will come to ditch Logitech entirely.

The wheel on the MX is nice though, magnetic notches and you control how much force is needed before it enters freewheel mode. Wish is had side rocker buttons on the wheel like the Keychron though. <aybe an MX Master 4 will solve these quirks I guess.

Yeah, I miss both of these points. I was wondering if I've seen somewhere something/some software that lets me hold the back but and scroll the mouse for sideways scrolling? Have I imagined that?

That’s one thing I would miss from using a “normal” mouse, when I’m in photoshop or lightroom (or anything that’s zoomed in), I use the top of the Magic Mouse to move in all directions like a trackpad. Not just scrolling up and down but 360 without changing the tool I’m on.

For me it's the per app customisations for the buttons that I like, looks like and it seems this is only properly possible on logitech so I may be stuck with an MX for productivity forever lol

Firefox has specific button mappings, media player classic etc.

Okay... so, holding Shift and scrolling does it sideways! Wh00p!

Anyone know how I can change Ctrl + Scroll to be faster scroll instead of zooming?

Bought a USB-C 40gbps nvme enclosure. The cable supplied is surprisingly nice, even have LED showing current/voltage.

Feels as solid as my OWC costing double, and not sure why it comes with these tiny cable sleeves....

That looks similar to my old Kona (1998) Lavadome. The only thing that remains original are the handlebars, frame itself and v-brake blocks. Everything else got changed or busted. In the end it had mavic titanium wheels, hope hubs, hollow tech II bottom bracket+cranks, XT set (front and back gears+deralliers), SPDs, new seat+post (bent), and mazzochi Z2 BAM light oil shocks. I even have the same cow horns (protected hands from a number of bangs).

If you're going on a ride just shove it in for a service - a new chain and new setup break blocks will go far to freshen the feel of it without spending an arm and a leg.
Have just picked it up from getting a service, he has changed the brake pads, chain and fixed a few other issues so all good to go now. Already in the territory of where I probably could have bought something newer and better second-hand. But hey ho!
