I just got the magene h603 and it’s been solid.HR Monitors: Talk to me.
I'm going to give up on my Wahoo tickr. This is a replacement one but for some reason 1/3rd in to my ride it decided to stick on 120bpm and never change. On the Wahoo it just showed "---" but when you'd go into sensors it said a value of 120 or something.
Didn't realise I could broadcast from my whoop to my Wahoo so I may do that going forwards but would still need to get one if I cancel Whoop. Thinking maybe an bicep band one would be better?

Garmin HRM Pro has been faultless for me. I used to use my whoop to broadcast to both my garmin head unit outdoors and direct to zwift indoors but it gets lots of drop outs, only for a second or so at a time but it measures that as 0bpm so gives false average readings.HR Monitors: Talk to me.

My saddle doesn't allow the mounting of my mattone saddle bag due to the rail shape. I have just been chucking the essentials in my jersey back pockets. Multi tool, dynaplug, CO2. I could chuck a spare tube but honestly I can just call the support car if its that bad.
Bit depressing every time I go outside at the moment and Garmin basically says "well done, your fitness is now at 8". I really is dumb. I could put Pogacar on my Garmin and it would say I have **** fitness, largely because at this time of year about 10% of my rides are outside vs indoors.
I use a wahoo arm band for the turbo and a standard Garmin chest strap outdoors. I managed to rot the wahoo chest strap press studs - probably just needs a new strap.HR Monitors: Talk to me.

I didn't think to check the temperature. I just saw it was going to be dry. Took me ages to warm up once I was home. Was all fun and games until my friend got a puncture and sitting around for 10 minutes took all the heat out of us.
What time of the night were you cycling?? And have you joined a cycling club or was it just a mate you were out with?
I find just jiggling the strap can sometimes get them to wake up again. Good thing is your PM didn't go to sleep.... Thats the real nightmare scenario!![]()

So, I think what happened was we stopped for a coffee for about 25-30minutes. My guess is the strap went to sleep or maybe got itself locked. Wish there was a button you could tap on the device to reconnect or something. As I only noticed it stopped tracking 20 minutes later. Was going up a big hill and it seemed like hitting my chest didn't wake it back up and I had a few layers on so was difficult trying to disconnect and reconnect the device.
It was the magene arm strap I was looking at @Martynt74 but maybe the Wahoo arm band one would be better.
I got a free Hammerhead HRM that does that... makes it useless tbh... hence I use my Whoop. I just leave it broadcasting my HR all the time. One less thing to remember for a ride!My guess is the strap went to sleep or maybe got itself locked.

Night? We set off at about 8am and back by 1130! It was just bitterly cold. It was fine if we were moving but once the cold set in, that was it.
Na just me and my one friend!

Thats viciously cold so kudos for not sacking it in. I was considering going out early but "hey siri, whats the temperature outside" soon put paid to that and it was only 2 degrees here. When I went out it was 4 degrees with "feels like" -1 and that was chilly enough.
