Tabletop Warhammer?

@Noxia Not sure it will work on smaller models but have you tried liquid mask? Get the armour done. Mask over the panels then spry the trim.

I have got some but I think the time it would take me to do all that again would still be quite disproportionate to the effort I'm prepared to put in, especially considering I only bought these to help out the shop lol.
Something to consider though thanks.

So many mistakes.

I also don't think it's a coincidence that this has to be the faction with the fewest tutorials for on YouTube and I think that's because nobody can be bothered to paint them lol.
I suppose the other advantage is if I do the blue armour first with my airbrush at least I can get a gradient on it because I sure as **** won't be spending time trying to glaze one in

Personally I would airbrush a contrast paint over the whole model, then hand paint the gold on top of the blue, that should shrink into the recess around the gold trim areas, making it easier to paint the gold.

Just a suggestion ;)

Been very much enjoying building the Black Templar PCS. Love the Space Wolves but with their unique units being very much still first born and with my short attention span it’s a nightmare to get anything finished. Conversion, 3rd party parts, pack markings and company markings it’s not a god mix

Now with me attempting to paint BT that makes picking an order for the Sisters of battle easier. Highly likely Order of the Bloody Rose now.

When will I learn. Painting the HQ gargoyle and had a lovely stone look with patches of green and brown but a bit bright. I thought 'yep knock that back with a wash and add some highlights, job done for gaming'.

One wash later and 'aaargh' going to have to do all that again.

Edit to add:

I am calling these done. Happier than I was with them but not how I envisaged them. Spent to much time ona what should have been a quick paint job. At least I am gradually rebuilding my brush control.

These look ace, well done!

Vallejo with mixed results. Grey is white and I've had it peel. Black is much better.

Ended up trying the grey, cheap small bottle, tried it with some old marines i had...1st attempt was not good, which to be fair was my 1st ever try with an airbrush, 2nd attempt much better, went on easy, covered great. Waited a day, whacked some flesh tearers contrast in the airbrush, gave it a quick base coat and all is good, have to realllly dig a fingernail in and scarpe to get it to come off!

Went through all my minis, having a bit of a clear out, and damn, I have so much to get rid of, just under 90 space marines, loads of scenery, and just under 60 death guard

That is sometimes the way!

I sold my friend the winged hive tyrant prime I think it was called from the Combat Patrol subscription I had.
He put it on the table last week, advanced it towards an objective and I got a lucky roll on my Predator tank las cannons and deleted it before it even got to do anything else. He was not happy, but it do be that way at times.
I swear there is some psychology about people trying to delete the best painted model on their opponent's army too. I need to test this theory.

Haha, yeh, I’ve been there too. I felt sorry for 5 mins.
