I dunno we've only seen two zotac 5090s with the issue haven't we. I just get the feeling they were late to the game with making cards.More like fell off the back of a truck, as they say where I'm from.
Seriously though, I have a feeling Zotac has a bunch of "reduced-ROP" chips on their hands they're needing to account for. I suspect there was "a wink's the same as a nod to a blind AIB" going on between them and nV.
It really is disparaging seeing the amount of malarky and hokum going on from top-bottom of supply chain with this launch. And agreed, anyone paying £1500 (or even £1400) for a 5080 -- a total abomination of a GPU/card -- is out of their GD mind.Have to say there's been 5080's available around the web since yesterday at so called "reputable" online retailers who have jacked the prices up (OCUK included), listed for silly money, and they are still there today. Paying £1500-£1600 for a 5080 is a complete joke, you'd need your head examining if you bought one. I know some have, but these cards have been sitting there 24 hours now, so maybe all the suckers have their cards by now?![]()
It's the first time I've actually seen cards there in stock there, but they have a bunch listed. Super tight anti-tracker/anti-scalper/anti-bot controls there: they have periodic redirects set up, then your IP gets locked after you do a few refreshes in a minute, then captcha to just access your cart... It's how all these sites should be doing it, but I expect their toolset is a bit more robust than other UK resellers.
I think they were both Wednesdays?FE drop tomorrow? It was the last two Thursdays that had drops wasn't it? Im really unsure wether to go for one or not, Im getting impatient now and just want to get a 5090 and for the best price possible but kind of want to hold out for the aib’s with better cooling.
It would be a nice round 20 minus the person who cancelled above but I've been queue number 4 since the beginning and it still says I am 4th on live tracking with the date 2025-05-30. Would be strange if the live order tracking doesn't update for everyone at the same time. They also didn't mention any Zotacs dropping in their update today but maybe they got them after the 5:30pm update. Would be strange if 20 people cancelled all at once on one day too though. Guess I have the smallest glimmer of hope tomorrow then.

No warranty on eBay and supply of 5080's isn't so bad so not surprised they aren't sellingThe thing is… OCUK are shifting 5080’s at higher prices, yet scalpers are struggling on eBay at similar or lower prices.
Absolute clown show haha.
AIB options are super limited at the moment and being bought by autobuyers even at the higher price levels. Not to say it won’t settle down but with the high preorder volumes and current pent up demand of people waiting for drops I think it might be a while…FE drop tomorrow? Because they're meant to be a reputable business. A business who are only as successful as they are because of support the likes of us have gave them over the years. Scalpers owe us nothing. Why wouldn't they if it was going to sell out instantly and probably to some scalper anyway![]()
I agree, which is making me think to just go for an FE. Im not buying the “stupidly high” stock in march leak.AIB options are super limited at the moment and being bought by autobuyers even at the higher price levels. It’s only because I thought that the 5080 and 5090 drops had both happened on a thursday, but apparently it was on the wednesdays that they dropped.Interesting ... Where do you get this ? BUT I do think you're onto something here
My non FE GPU has an expected delivery date of Friday so that ties in with what you're predicting
Also aint it just SCAM who are supplying the FEs ?
