I like to have extra dill pickles in my burgers. Noticed some McDs charge 20p extra for this and some don’t.
Some charge for dips!

Went through a phase recently of passing by a Mcd's when working some late hours.
Filled a hole, but my word was bland and warm.
Pretty sure the Mac's of yesteryear was way tastier!
And don't get me started on KFC ...drivel
The chicken looks like something out of a
Cronenberg movie.
Just a bad experience and the price is problematic.

Plus if you do it in smash style its way tastier than a mcdonalds burger.all you need to make a burger the same as mcdonalds is minced beef 20 percent fat. so for eg a 500g mince 20 percent fat is £2.70. that makes 8 burgers. people need to just make their own.![]()
I do this but I only make 4 from a pack. 125g is close enough to quarter pounder weight. I use two cherry profile space bars as height guides when squashing them into shape.all you need to make a burger the same as mcdonalds is minced beef 20 percent fat. so for eg a 500g mince 20 percent fat is £2.70. that makes 8 burgers. people need to just make their own.![]()
Tried Wendy's? We've had one open near us and their burgers are a real step above anything Maccas churns out.All I know is I want my Signature range of burgers back. I miss that BBQ burger they had going, was a top tier drive-thru burger.

It is good but the price is also a step well above McDonalds.Tried Wendy's? We've had one open near us and their burgers are a real step above anything Maccas churns out.
£2.99 for a burger is still pretty solid value. It's a quarter pounder patty so pretty inline with McD.It is good but the price is also a step well above McDonalds.
Edit Popeyes is opening up near me so I’ll give that a try one day.
Only when in America. Do they do the baconator over here? That was lovely.
I wish we had American KFC and Popeyes whilst we are at it.
I have, it was good stuff.Yeah they do a Baconator, not tried one yet though.
Also still missing the Signature range from McD's
Just checked and we have a Wendy's not that far away, so might give them a try soon.
