its funny as pickles or gherkins when i was younger was evil ! id get my cheese burger open it up skim em off. now as im older they are one of the best things about a mcdonalds.. :p

over the last month ive been perfecting making the mcdonalds burgers. now got it so they taste exactly the same so wont be buying any more ! also it costs less and you can have them whenever you want. been deep down the rabbit hole trying to get it right but they actually really simple. key is also to layer the burgers the same with the same ingredients.

but for about £6 i can make 8 burgers. fresh at home and just as good ! also only takes about 6 mins to cook.:D

You can litteraly buy a proper steak dinner and have a milkshake with it for 30p more if you can be bothered to cook it.

all you need to make a burger the same as mcdonalds is minced beef 20 percent fat. so for eg a 500g mince 20 percent fat is £2.70. that makes 8 burgers. people need to just make their own. :D

I do this but I only make 4 from a pack. 125g is close enough to quarter pounder weight. I use two cherry profile space bars as height guides when squashing them into shape.
 
We both went out and 2 meals was something ridiculous like £18.
I remember when the extra value meal was £2.88!
 
Also still missing the Signature range from McD's

Just checked and we have a Wendy's not that far away, so might give them a try soon.

I went to a Wendy's once on the last year or so, not impressed.

Yes it's better than McDonald's, marginally, it's a fair bit more expensive and they ****** my order up.

So they are in the bin.
 
We have a couple of Wendy’s up here, generally not too bad. There milkshakes are very good. I find the issue is the salad is fresh and straight out of the fridge, and is so cold it chills the patty very quickly.
