I feel the PS5 edges the Series X on HD Bluray playback. I have no evidence or studies to back this up but on the rare occasions we watch something I use the PS.

I just went to install GTA 5 on my Windows PC from Steam and saw that there is an enhanced version being released on the 4th of March. Does that mean the Xbox Series X version will be updated as well? I had search on Google but couldn't find anything.

Nope, the Pac is just getting all the next gen graphical updates the series X and PS5 got. However the PC is getting a lot more graphical updates.

Lots of talk about an Xbox handheld. Not sure if the rumoured Z2 if enough of a jump over what is out there now but the supposed debloating of Windows for handhelds sounds promising.
Unless it has Steam integration, I can't see this making much of a splash. It'll become just another of a multitude of PC-like handheld devices.

Given my Series X to my son, is there away of limiting the time he can spend on it even if he's using the primary account? He's obsessed with Fortnite and says if I set up a second account he will lose all his saves etc.

There are the Xbox Parental controls which i'm pretty sure have a screen time option available.
When you say primary account, is that yours? He will need to have his own account and then your account becomes the parent account to control it I believe.

In regards to Fortnite, i'm pretty sure it ties to an epic account in the background so whilst a bit fiddly I think you would logon to the epic account directly, unlink the xbox account he has been using and then link the new xbox account to it and he will keep all his save data.
I did this with the switch version years ago and it worked a treat, this was way back when the game launched though so this may have changed, i've not played Fortnite in years

Yep. Had my eye on this for a while. Looks and sounds really interesting. I have a soft spot for some of Rebellion's back catalogue, so I am hoping this will be a solid game.

Ooh, I didn't know it was a Rebellion game. That makes it immediately noteworthy. Haven't any idea what it is though!

A lot of people have been referring to it as Fallout in the UK... It's not that but it's understandable why it's been labelled as such!

Plus it's a play anywhere title I think, which is cool!

Yeah Atomfall looks good, as it's on Gamepass it would be rude not to check it out.

I'm really enjoying Avowed, it's nothing groudbreaking but it has quite an addictive loop that I'm enjoying at the minute. Exploration feels rewarding.

Finally got round to playing Indiana Jones and gave up after a few hours. Really disappointed as I had high hopes having loved the films and wrongly assumed it would be a Tomb Raider sort of game. Boring story, gameplay and a really poor menu system i thought. Started Avowed instead and now that's way more enjoyable, actually sat and played it for a few hours last night instead of playing on the PC.

good luck making that work..lasted about a week before I said forget this after being hounded by my boys, esp when it would cut off mid game..not worth the disharmony at home

didn't know that..but depends how you logged in. My son started via my a/c and looged into epic via my xbox a/c...when my son got older and i set up his own username a/c etc it was too late...all the skins etc my son had collected and purchased in the early seasons(started season 1) where all linked to my account..so every time he wants to play, he just logs in as me...just compounds the problem...I obvs can't play the game as when i tried once, think like Apex Legends, it puts you in a game with people of similar calibre(or maybe that's just Apex), and never having played them... I get wiped out almost immediately unless I try and hide...though seeing as i don't play those games anyway, not too fussed
just can get annoying if i want to play a game and he's on my account...my advice, break the link straight away..more he plays on your account, more skins he gets for levelling up thu the season, harder it'll be to leave your account and start from stractch(though he'll never get earlier season skins again)
