What game did you play last?

Played Wingspan for the first time today. Quite a nice game.

Was quite unhappy that Tit wasn't considered a body part for scoring though. ;) :D

Local FBGCon this Saturday. No idea what games I'm taking or will be playing. Couple of hundred people with all sorts of levels of games going on. Some will set a game up at 10am and still be playing it 6 hours later, others play quick things like Draftosaurus. Lovely thing. Plus the bring and buy... ;)
Wingspan is brilliant, one of my favourites. They have a fantasy dragon version called Wyrmspan AND a brand new one called Fishspan!

Heard that Wyrmspan is streamlined Wingspan, and Finspan is streamlined Wyrmspan. If they keep streamlining it, with the next version you'll set it up and the game will be over. ;)

Definitely want to give Wyrmspan a go.

Not played last, but new additions to collection. Got an expansion I didn't know existed for Sub Terra II. Attack of the Crabs. Turns out it was only released in French. So, ordered a copy from France and it arrived in 4 days using DPD. Philibert managed to get it shipped to me faster than a places in the UK! Got hold of the mini's as well for the game and the other 2 expansions. More added to the eventual painting pile....

Also added Heat: Tunnel Vision. Not played it yet, but the new tracks seem to indicate that they're planning on getting it up to 12 cars in game. Up from 8 in the base game. That could take some time to play

Pursuit of Happiness last night, always enjoyable.
Little bit of Solar Storm this morning, basically Pandemic in space.
Currently working through 7th Continent but struggling with the rules and they are not explained very well.

XCom was dusted off last weekend, app needed updating and we forgot that all the miniatures had been painted.
Took us a while to get back into it and really enjoyed it. Found it there is a print and play Long War fan written expansion which looks interesting.

In other news, Galactic Cruise has just arrived at work so reserved a copy. No idea where that's going to live.

I've struggled to get into 7th Continent. Bought the original kickstarter, and played "one life", and figured I wasn't so sure I liked it.

The rules seemed to fall into place once I got started. but did take a lot of flipping back and forth through the rulebook.

We had the same issue, a little too clunky and I still don't get the 'stacking' item thing.

I have 7th Citadel waiting for us after this too so hopefully it's explained a bit more.

Legions imperialis

Solar v solar with a warlord each.

First few turns I gave up going for the victory points and focused on positioning and destruction, got to the last turn and managed to go all square by capturing all three objectives and 1 stand of stubborn solar in particular getting two 6 saves to hold the centre objective !

Opponent was down to his warlord, could have won but had some seriously bad rolls.

Victory points all square, won on % of enemy forces destroyed secondary objective, so won by 2 points!

Great game.

Thanks for the link, I hadn't heard about Greater Than Games shutting down. Spirit Island is one of my favourite games, and Sentinels of the Multiverse is a decent deck building game. :(
slight update :
