Borderlands 4 (2025)

I still need to play through Borderlands 3 and that Tiny Tina game before I get this

I am not sure I would bother.

Borderlands 3 is not particularly good (it's the only one that I have only played through once!) and the Tiny Tina game just bored me to death.
Gameplay aside, it’ll look stunning on an OLED.

It will. Borderlands 3 was, so no reason why Borderlands 4 won't be.

I loved 2 and pre sequel. i don't quite know why but i couldn't get on with 3, it was not even remotely funny, the two main antagonists were obnoxious, and the whole thing was just very meh.

4 has some work to do for me.

Yep. Completed it, but it wasn't a touch on 2. Tiny Tina was fun, but 2 is still the peak borderlands

They really should have released a 'remastered' version of BL2 using the BL3 engine and mechanics. I, and I'd wager a lot of others, would have paid full price again for that!

I loved Borderlands 2 and it's dlc content, the pre-sequel was drab and boring while BL3 was just mediocre at best with the worst story telling of the lot.
The only saving grace for BL3 for me was the Guns, Love & Tentacles dlc which had a great story and one of the best quests in the game.

Tiny Tina's Wonderland was just behind BL2 for me in terms of enjoyment, just a shame I didn't have more people to play it with and the end game was a bit meh.

Borderlands 2 with the DLC was just great, and I enjoyed the fact that when I got a good weapon, it was a real find. Borderlands 3 had some moments, but I never really had the wow moments like with the second. It seemed a lot easier to find nice weapons. I've played through BL2 a few times, and not sure I finished BL3.

I rage quit Borderlands 3 when, even lowering the difficulty to easiest setting, I couldn’t beat Troy. Even watching multiple YouTube videos on how to do it I just could not defeat him.

I ******* hate boss levels and would happily have a skip option, with some derogatory achievement, for them in any game.

I loved Borderlands, but only played it once.

Borderlands 2 I completed solo, then 2 player. Then 4 of us played through the campaign and DLCs
As a group, as well as solo, we farmed raid bosses for hours at a time. 2 of us got to OP level 6 and then I managed to solo my way to OP level 8
2 was amazing and I've spent over 800hrs in it

Pre-Sequel was bad compared to 2. I don't think I even got to the end. I might have done, but it certainly wasn't memorable if I did

3 and Tiny Tina I've yet to play
Hopefully I'll get them played before BL4 arrives, but if not it's ok. The value of the BL games drops like a stone so I'm sure after a year or so it'll be dirt cheap with ton of DLC

The movie was bad as well, but ok for some mild entertainment while having dinner
