I need to install that later. I heard there's a free emoteI gave Fortnite a go and it's a big upgrade too, good IQ and holding 60FPS most of the time, It was barely playable on Switch 1 (when i tried it).

Aye, I had them delivered today but did use the guard rail. To note, I have never managed to get a screen protector on any device without a tiny bubble or a smudge of sorts around the edges. This went on perfectly.I got the JSAUX 3-Pack Screen Protector, was £6.99 and went on perfect, didn’t bother with the alignment frame.

Also anyone tried Portal 2 it crashes at the title screen, was mid way through this on my OLED switch.
Yes. I have BotW on cartridge. Paid for the update for 6 quid, redeemed the code and it downloaded the S2 version (as far as I'm aware). Still need the cartridge in the console to play.I've not kept up on the Switch 2 at all, couple of questions,
Upgrades to games, like ZBOTW for example do the upgrades work on cartridge games?
Backwards compatibility, can I just slot in my original switch games and they work as normal?
I'm hoping for a 60fps Witcher 3 update but not holding my breath. It does run locked at 30fps, unpatched, according to DF.It's nice to see a bunch of games getting free Switch 2 updates. Mario Odyssey looks quite good on a 4k HDR screen now, as does ARMS (one of my fave Switch games).
In some games, performance (and to some degree resolution in a few cases) is improved even without an update.

I have just installed it (it’s the plastic type), it’s fine as my son looks after his prized possession very well haha. All this talk of screen protectors, has anyone purchased the official case that comes with a screen protector, worth it?
FYI - It's NSO + Expansion membership.Someone on another forum said you get the BOTW and TOTK upgrades for free if you're a Nintendo Online subscriber. I didn't spot this yesterday in the eShop, or is it in the online area somewhere?
I was about to buy the BOTW upgrade but handy if it's included with NSO.

Portal 2 isn't on the list of incompatible games so that's interesting, I wonder if it works on a new profile/fresh save. Also anyone tried Portal 2 it crashes at the title screen, was mid way through this on my OLED switch.
With Cyberpunk being a thing and I think a good port, a Witcher 3 update at some point feels like a fair bet.I'm hoping for a 60fps Witcher 3 update but not holding my breath. It does run locked at 30fps, unpatched, according to DF.
I had that too. One update and a few minutes later the NS2 was happy and continued with the transfer. I guess if you've not updated in months then maybe your NS1 needs to catchup on a few updates first.stupid switch 2 was like "update your other switch" so I did and it still said update your other switchI gave up told it I dont have it but it loves to moan that its not the primary console.
I've just tried and no you can't pair the Switch 2 pro controller with a Switch 1, the Switch 1 doesn't detect itCan you use the new switch 2 Pro Controller on a switch 1 ? Not intending on upgrading kids Switch anytime soon, but want to get a pro-controller, just wondering if I can use this new one.
Thanks, I'll take a proper look after I finish work (at midnight). The code is inside the top layer under the Switch, by the HDMI cable...if it is there.
