Ferrari Luce EV

It's an EV with a Ferrari badge to sell to people that want an EV with a Ferrari badge.

Yeah but just put one on the new Leaf and it’ll look the same :P

It's a car for people who want to be on the invitation list to buy more exotic Ferraris.

Such a toxic trend.

It really irks me when a company, like Ferrari, make such a boring looking car with other weird choices (such as range in this case) - feels like such a waste of precious material on this planet.

At this stage, it’s basically a really expensive appliance. You can’t see it being the kind of car that holds value longer term. Depreciation is going to be eye watering surely.

Jaguar is like "we're not looking so bad now...are we ? :)"
jaguar still have the award (awarded by me so maybe not that important ;) ) of going from the best car advert I have ever seen (good to be bad FType) to the worst car add I have ever seen.

and on top of that...... the Jag concept to me looks far worse than the EV Ferrari!.
I just hope the actual production model looks nothing like it..

also Ferrari have not ditched the prancing horse AND still make proper Ferraris . :p

The Jag looks worse than the Ferrari? Ban from Motors when I become mod @BaZ87

Or at the very least change username from 20vt to small20voltEV

only the Type 00 concept. Its hard to be sure with all the guff covering it but I am hopeful the production car will look better.
PS I drive a jaguar, and a 2nd hand F-Type is one of the few cars which may one day drag me back to burning dinosaurs ;) so am certainly not anti Jag... tho I am sad the Growler has been dropped.
I genuinely dont dislike the new Ferrari looks wise however... it just doesn't look like a Ferrari and costs £lol

Personally I don't think the Luce looks bad as such, a few bits look kind of odd, the Honda mock up posted actually would look really good. It is just completely and utterly laughable as a Ferrari, the Jaguar concept though is just horrendous whatever way you throw it.

If the Luce had come out with say a Nissan badge and slightly less crazy rear light cluster people would have been like "meh generic EV" and moved on. If the Jaguar had come out with a Nissan badge on it most people would have been like *puke*.

The Luce does not look good, it's rather bland and lacks any design flair. Like Jay Leno, I am not that keen on Ferrari as a brand, as they are rather haughty and snobby. They also ban journalists who have said anything bad about their cars, they can't take any criticism, and the Luce certainly deserves it! They also don't like people modifying their cars, and they aren't really "car guys" anymore, more like an over-priced designer label, and that I can do without.

They went after Bill Gates in the 90s when he turboed his Ferrari. But it's Bill Gates so they didn't get far.

The most profitable car company in the world, by some margin in profitability v turnover terms.

This thing is awful aesthetically and miles from what it could have been, but Ferrari knows better than anyone how to create demand and sell at highest value so let's see. I suspect they know who their customers are and will fleece them accordingly.

Always has been in my lifetime and likely always will be THE car brand.

Not if they keep making things like the Luce!! The car lacks pose value and that is important to people spending half a million quid or so.
just remember it is ONE car.

my dream car (as in silly never gonna happen dream not dream but still plausible car ) has always been a lambo of one type or another.......

but that doesn't mean I would ever want a LM002 (other than to sell) and whilst the Urus is not "foul" it has the same issues as the Luce imo. ie it's just dull and generic to look at

Ferrari still make plenty of sexy cars too

No it's not just a car, it's a Ferrari!

Unfortunately it IS a sign of the times.

End times, end of the world imo. Late stage slow death spiral. All the signs are there, first Jag now Ferrari. Lambo next, Urus City Car
