I like Nemesis, but unless you sit at the front, you get to miss loads. I liked Oblivion and Air from Alton towers, but my favourite ride has to be the Big Shot in Las Vegas

God, it was bad enough just being in the Stratosphere, as I'm not too keen on heights. The Big Shot is by far the scariest thing I've ever done out of choice. I had four goes on it in the end. Superb ride!

yeah, nice promotion trick alton tower use though.
on adverts they dont say what unit it is, just 0-100.
its actually 60mph in 2.5 seconds :)

edit : beaten... :(

Still thought it was quick ;) but yeah, couldve done better!!

That Kingda Ka one is just a cheap rip off of top thrill dragster!

Exactly the same design, just made it 6mph quicker and 20ft taller!

Millenium force at ceder point, now that was in a league of its own!

oh yeah the force it gives is still impressive, apparently it was going to be 75Mph but the track design ended this plan

pretty much yeah, but there isnt really any other design which can achieve such a height whilst not using up lots of space

Kraken was the first 'upside down' rollercoaster i've been on and as such, it was an awesome ride. But of course, several days after that, I endured the incredible hulk at Islands of adventure. That is one hell of a rollercoaster. The start is one of the best things about it, trully awesome ride.

Edit: I forgot about Dueling Dragons. That was a great rollercoaster, but I have a nice memory of being stuck at the top, just before the first drop. Was sat for 20 minutes before being told to get out, and walk down the steps (which conveniantly where see-through). That walk down, 127ft iirc, was scarier than the ride itself!

STEALTH

SAMURAI (they put on a longer hardcore setting. I swear me and my mate actually couldn't walk when we came off  I got off the ride, went to walk and just fell over!! AWESOME :D )

park adventura: dragon kahn for myself

most because it was the first real rollercoaster i went on, just quite an awesome experiance being so high up waiting for the inevitible

For some reason Nemesis doesn't really do anything for me, Oblivion is a lot worse. The pepsi max at Blackpool is probably the best one for me, only because it goes sooooo high.

They're made by the same company.

There's only like two main rollercoaster companies anyway, Intamin AG and Bolliger & Mabillard.

Montu (Busch Gardens, Fl)
Duelling Dragons (Islands of Adventure, Fl)
Manhattan Express (New York New York Casino, Las Vegas) - best done at night
Gwazi (Busch Gardens, Fl)
Stealth (Thorpe Park) - omgthespeedz0r

My top five, in that order.
