Those with long pauses on 'about a minute to go' don't panic, just leave it alone, don't start playing about and trying to reset it or anything.

It gets there eventually.

Is anyone else finding deleting the apps from an iPhone takes a long time between tapping the [x] and the delete notification appearing?

Yeah the beta is pretty rock solid. Upto its 6th beta now but still has some issues. iCloud is getting a lot better and apparently there is a media event on 7th September. They will either announce its release date or release it then.

How do you get iOS 5 beta?

Slightly geeky but I am genuinely very excited / looking forward to the Message Centre (or whatever it's called) - It's one of the things which almost made me switch to BlackBerry. The current method is frankly ridiculous. The number of times a message / whatsapp / reminder has disrupted what I've been doing or switched the radio / music off! Or I've pressed cancel and then completely forgotten about it until I flick through the apps later and see the red blob on the corner of the messages icon
