***The iOS 5 Thread***

I'm finding a few things that need fixing/working on. For example, sometimes I'll get a text, scroll up to read previous messages, begin typing and then I can't scroll back to the latest message(s). Also in Safari I'll load a webpage, it'll load and then the screen will go blank for a second and then back to the page

Other than that I think it's shaping up to be an improvement.

Sky news and sky tv apps don't show the text just a blank screen. But part from that working perfectly here.

I'm hoping they can improve the battery life on the final though. I thikn they may have upped the clock speed on this release ,hence the smoothness and less bettering life

That used to happen a lot on the iOS4.0 Beta and iOS3.0 beta. Not as annoying as the lag, but still a silly bug. :o

Anyone noticed that the thumbnails for photos within the photos app is just all black! Annoying!
That bug doesn't happen to me =/

I do, however, have a bug where when in the car and I'm listening to my music over bluetooth, when I turn off the engine and leave the car, the iPhone still has the music as "Play". It isn't actually still playing, but the play icon in the menu bar is still showing.

I have to actually pause it in the Music app, otherwise the play icon stays :p

Wierd :p

Battery life isn't as good I've just realised, having to charge every day now dammit!

I've always had to charge every day - I would do it with any phone, so fortunately it's not a problem for me, as long as it lasts until I sleep :p

Something odd happened when I tried to update to beta 6 OTA from beta 5. It downloaded fine, then as it restarted to install, it went into recovery mode and just sat there... I tried rebooting it, but it just took me back to connect to iTunes.

Plugged it into my PC and used TinyUmbrella to kick it out of recovery, and it continued updating. Its literally just finished updating, and appears to be fine now.
