*** Official Ryzen Owners Thread ***

Couple of shots from my build, finally got the mobo today!

Motherboard assembled, ready to be plopped into the case.

I hereby challenge every Ryzen owner to beat my Cinebench score @4Ghz. Let's see what you've got gentlemen. :D

R7 1700 @4Ghz
3200MHZ CL14
1.350V
Score: 1770

EDIT got a slightly better score by 1 point with lower voltage now 1.350v. Not bad for a £320 CPU.
I will accept the challenge, if ever I get my order that is

30 minutes 16gb.

Very occasionally did manage thirty minutes, but fails most of the time.

Everything in system at stock.

It stresses the GPUs as well? Do you want me to run the GPU tests as well or just the CPU?

It crashes immediately to a black screen @4Ghz. :D

Ran for 5 minutes at stock with no issues. Will retest now for 30 minutes.

Didn't think you could disable the gpu bit for stress test?

Well, that's interesting and frustrating.

So either realbench is doing something 'bad' as far as this platform is concerned... Or there is something in this platform that's just falling over under stress?

You have one of the best mobo s aswell....this is not a good sign...

Can you try 1.4 v

What cooling are you using ...?

Don't fret chaps, my 4Ghz overclock from 3.2Ghz wasn't likely stable. I'm now running it again at stock clocks with the memory overclocked to 3200Mhz CL14 and typing this at the same time, no issues. Been running for 5 minutes already.

Looking forward to hearing how it goes. Thanks for doing this

H110i and it seems to do a good job. I replaced the stock fans with these, slightly less cooling power but a bit quieter and LEDS. http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/ml140-pro-led-red-140mm-premium-magnetic-levitation-fan

15 Minute Update
UOMzTmx.jpg

30 minutes complete.

Y0Ujb7L.jpg

This was at stock settings so as all threads were used boost clock was 3.2Ghz.

Matt,

Just out interest can you run Prime 95 latest build at stock for 5 mins and report temps please ?

Small FFT

Okay.

Cheers Amigo :)

So Realbench Stock 33c full load...

Prime small FFT TBA full load.

10 minutes Small FFT.

At 3.2Ghz the 1700 uses such low voltage and draws little wattage so it's easy work for a decent cooler, air or water.

I'm not sure if Prime95 really works with AMD CPUs, so don't know how valid this is.

Hmm.

What gpu do you have?

2x Radeon Pro Duos.
