Well I bit the bullet and ordered one too!!

Got block and backplate to fit today as it is definitely throttling at 80 Deg C.

Well that sounds like a decent chip to me. Cant wait for mine to arrive but knowing my luck i wont break the 2000 mark on core.

Nice! You hitting power limits with the strix at those settings?
Edit- holds 2088, so stable no power limit by the looks.

Yes I added 50+ volt on MSI ab slider though without the voltage increase it holds 2075 stable too so far good

120 % Max Power Limit is a fail. Power limit will drag the card down to 1885Mhz range regardless of volts or clock speed setting. We need BIOS un-locks for PL

if you do a benchmark run and switch the PL reporting on within Afterburner or, look at the GPU-Z graph it will clearly show you that the clock drops due to PL limits being hit on the card. The Strix OC is no better than a founders edition in that regard until ASUS release the BIOS for the Strix OC (which they will, they did it for the 1080 Strix OC)

i got mine on 140 / 500 but I've not touched the voltage as i haven't unlocked it yet. What does this help with?

Incidentally overwatch doesn't like it when i have the memory is set to 500, it turns green / pink. But never crashes, and everything runs cool... weird. If i lower it to 300 its ok.

That is showing the memory OC is too high. Keep it lower to save damage to the mems.
