Harley festeval has rhe singer belting out such bikin classics as "adels rollin in tbe deep and rhiannas umbrella" :p

Test rode the Tracer 700 and Versys 650 today. The tracer seems to be the more popular bike being essentially an mt07 but tbh I found the versys to be the better bike. The brakes on the tracer did not inspire confidence, the screen doesn't seem to block much wind, imo it didn't sound as good and although it makes more power and torque than the versys it just didn't feel quite as strong. All fixable things and the tracer is still a good bike, but I'd sooner buy the versys than the tracer.

One thing I did find on both is I really had to angle my foot down to get it under the gear lever to change up - are gear levers adjustable? Not sure if it's just my new boots being stiff or whether the gear levers are positioned differently than the bike I did DAS on.

Beautiful ride out today, proving you don't always needs mountains for a lovely ride.

Yep you can adjust the shift lever up and down by either turning the linkage rod or for bigger adjustments moving it on the output shaft.

I don't know whether to salute in awe or feel sorry for him. As awesome as it is, his parents must be pretty careless.

Still awesome though :D

Well.... After following the advice posted here, i managed to correctly land myself an ABSOLUTE steal of a bike for £4000.

I've ridden plenty of bikes in my times, from a KX500 (old school) to GSXr1300.... But i dont know what it is, but the MT acceleration is absolutely beyond!!!

15,587 miles on the clock with full service history, Full Akro exhaust system with carbon end can, K&N air filter, Dynojet Quickshifter, Radiator guard, tail light with integrated indicators, Evotech tail tidy, Givi hand guards, Carbon Fibre - front and rear mud guards, R&G engine covers , Oxford heated grips, Pazzo Short levers...

My beautiful, my love, my first :D

 That's A LOT of bike for £4k!! Good job!

I thought it was dodgy tbh, how cheap it was! But the guy didn't have many people ringing/viewing... He said sods law, after agreeing in principle with me (again what an amazing guy) to hold it until i came up, he said he'd had a quite few calls in the meantime!

Ah well, i'm beyond happy!

Haha, I can tell you had a good day out on it, was the perfect weather for it too.

Yeah... about that.... Yesterday had a good afternoon.... Told the Mrs i'd only be an hour, 7 hours later i rocked up home to a complete dressing down (and not in the good way).... So today i was limited to a max of two hours. In her defence tho, i haven't bothered much with the kids this weekend!

Cheeky half day Wednesday tho for a ride down the gower.... Some chips, ice cream and a tug over the bike :P

ALSO...... THAT QUICK SHIFTER!!! WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOW

How aren't these standard now! Barp, Barp Barp BArp..... No let up in power, pin it and bang!

I had a Quickshifter on both my Street Triples and I must admit they're MINT!! A lot of people don't agree on having them on the road but its a nice bit of kit to have, Fun and easy!! Also found myself dropping back down the gears to go back up through the box to hear the sound again and again :p
