This. Whilst hardly any Blurays were region locked, for some bizarre reason some studios have taken to region locking the Blurays included in 4K releases. This matters when the extras are only on the Bluray which is often the case.

Not impressed with the 4k disk so far, it's stuttered twice and knocked the audio out of sync.

As above, have all three of those and never had an issue.

XBox is good value for money but I've read about far too many little 'issues' with its 4K playback, despite the generally positive reviews.

so there is no official comment from Sony on these problems ? - sounds like they need a recall like those "we make what can't be made" Samsung battery linguists
but if you do not want games (or waiting for an X) would be a justifiable reason to send it back and get a ub300/400 for less money ?

I've got The Martian extended and Logan, no stuttering or sync issues here on the XboneS ?? Both playing 5.1.2 Atmos fine.

Any particular scene? I could do a quick recheck.

sorry further cynicism, that reminded me of the New Sony Bosses word's I'd read

I've got Logan and had no issue.

Have you been updating the Blu-ray app? You need to do it manually.
