RRP is recommended retail price. Retailers are not beholden to it. It reads that AMD went some way to guarantee that retailers would price at the RRP. Retailers now appear to have increased prices due to demand for remaining standalone cards. Otherwise the 'bundle pack' cards are what are left.
Trouble is the RRP is no longer $499, it's now $599 for the 64 Blower edition until AMD realise they've overpriced at $599, every Vega 64 will be $599.
It also doesn't bode well for AiB partners who normally come in above stock RRP prices due to the extra fancy coolers etc, meaning it will push prices of AiB Vega 64's above $600, meaning this side of the pond AIB Vega 64's will be well north of £600.
Perhaps this is why there hasn't been much talk from AiB's regarding their own custom cooled Vegas as they know they'll be overpriced for their performance
