We don't have enough yet supported at MSRP to even hope to put them live.
.. putting our 50 cards, might be 100 by tomorrow live
I feel for you guys but the supply to you is still a joke.

The owners thread is a very small snapshot of the UK market and isn't representative either of the market anyway. It's merely a poll completed by people who visit the forum and care to post they have a card. They'll be many people who simply haven't posted either for that matter.
Sorry but I'm far more inclined to believe Gibbo about which card sells better and HAS more sales rather than a forum poll. Not even a comparison when comparing the two.
And with all due respect sales everywhere matter and to base how you care on a forum poll alone is laughable.
These threads are comical.
I only looked in the owners threads because someone said to look there, so I did. That's all the data I have to go on. I still firmly believe there were a lot more FE models sold than people seem to think. I also was taught to never trust a salesman, so I don't and never will, so I equally don't believe Gibbo either and that will never change.
The 6500xt is still £200, on this very website. overclockers put one model on sale already!
Quite a few with 10+ stock in as well.
Demand for the 6500xt was clearly massively overestimated.
With a bit of effort, you can buy a fe card at mrsp. Before anyone says it's impossible, I bought a 3080 on my first attempt.
Yes, there are still versions available for nearer the MSRP, but there are models way above that, and I expect the call for the 3050 to be higher given its performance against the 6500XT, so, where do you think that's going to go price wise, lowering of the 6500XT, or an increase on the 3050.....
Why make things sound worse than they are? The card is on OCUK for less than £200 with still "10+" in stock meaning they likely have loads.
Believe what you wish, but when you say things like you only care about UK numbers kind of shows how naïve you are, NVIDIA is a global company that has bigger markets it sells into than the UK. FE cards are only sold in some markets, whereas AIB cards are sold in all markets, particular the bigger brands. It is probably safe to say that a company like Asus alone has sold more cards than FE cards sold, then factor in all the other partners, MSI, Gigabyte, Zotac, Palit, Inno3D, Galax, EVGA, Manli, PNY, Gainward, plus the Far East partners.
I try to help where I can and share a lot of data that no other reseller would share and I am not in a sales role, I am a buyer, but of course I do list products on the website which in turn the website then sells, so I will accept it is easy to see me a sales person, but consider this I just suggested to people they buy elsewhere if they can find product in stock at MSRP, you won't see many sales men telling you to buy elsehwere. It is just honest advice!
I'm simply going off of the OCUK website, nowhere else
Only the stupid Asus one and idiot scalpers on ebay.

Just overinflating the price of things is making things worse and part of the problem anyway (making people panic buy/pay over the odds). Many are guilty of this in this forum "OMG its GOING TO BE NINTEY BILLION POOUNDSS!". It just compounds the issue.
The reality is that prices are coming down and stock is staying on the shelves. It isnt hard to track.
Loads of retailers have gone from having basically nothing in stock during parts of last year, to loads of different cards all still with plenty of stock left, and they have been staying in stock for weeks.
I took in 1100 units on the Sapphire 6500 XT, were now down to 660 units and sales are now levelling out at 30-50 a day, the 6500 XT is not the kind of card we would expect people on these forums to be buying.
For us the 6500 XT is a card the market was in dire need of it is putting live back into the smaller SI's who business model was cheap 1080P gaming systems, we ourselves hope to get a full gaming system live next week for £699 with a 6500 XT in it on a gen4 platform, something we have not been able to get close to for a long time and other SI's are doing similar. It is helping sales of other products like cheaper cases, lower wattage power supplies and entry level processors etc. etc.
We expect 6500 XT sales to be strong (at sub £200) but the majority of them will be going into systems or will be sold trade to our customers who operate business's specialising in building more cost effective gaming PC's.
I'm not naïve, I just literally don't care what cards are selling elsewhere because it has no relevance to me personally. When looking for a product I only look for what is on sale in the UK. I don't care if the FE isn't sold in Russia, all I care about is if it's sold in the UK. That's all I was on about.
I'm equally not disputing that AIB's in total have sold more cards than the FE model, what I stating is that I believe the FE model seems in much higher proportion this time around than I can ever remember it being, which goes against people saying that they are ridiculously rare. It would really be interesting to see the numbers of FE produced, but I don't think that will ever happen.
Well, obviously you werent selling them fast enough/as much as expected at £225 or there is no way they would be on offer so quickly.
Nope, we sold the stock we had at £179, at £225 the sales dropped to less than 20 units per day, so I went back to Sapphire and said we need to sell at £199 can you help, they gave some assistance and we dropped our margin to 10% and were at £199 and sales are much better now.
