Post Your Home Cine & HiFi Kit...

Stream? you mean via wireless?
My 108Mbps router couldn't cope with streaming HD content wirelessly.

I don't think an X800XT will be up to the job for HD. You are far better off getting a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 3450 Silence 512MB DDR2 TV-Out/DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express) @ £32.19 @ OCuk
I have one and it works great and silent!

An 3200+ may cope with 720p (even then i think it will struggle) but it certainly will not do for 1080p

Thanks for the reply, no I didn't mean wirelessly - I'm using gigabit

I ended up trying it anyway and it works perfectly :)

Well, this is my Home Cine
LCD AQUOS Sharp 32"
Sorround Sistem 5.1 Ilion DW-03

Sorry kyle, no one meant any offense. I was merely commenting on how cold it is at the moment here, no one in their right mind could possibly have a fan cooler in england atm! And skye was just following a forum tradition, when someone makes their first post its upto current memebers to 'claim' them. No idea why...

But beware that one of them on its own is very very low at only 30cm in height. By buying 2 and joining them together you will raise it up to about 55cm which is a much better height for normal sofa sitting height so the tv is at eye level.

Will post pics of my setup back at teh parents on the Dual Lack in a few weeks when I'm back there.

I've been meaning to post in this thread, my uni setup. :p

It's nothing much but it is something:

Samsung S4 32"
PS3 + Wii
NAD 302
Wharfedale diamond 9.1 in black ash
Logitech Squeezebox duet
(hidden) server running tversity for the ps3 + squeezecenter for the squeezebox.

Whats that sound setup sound like as thinking of getting the them speakers and a NAD amp?

I personally love it. Music is detailed, clear and well controlled. Video/films are brilliant and games a joy to listen to.

They improve vastly over the course of a week of use and while the NAD 302 isn't a powerhouse it can deliver volumes that can be heard at the other end of the corridor with ease, not that I actually do that though.

I had a NAD C355BEE on loan for a week while I was at home and the sound was noticeably punchier and 'bigger' than my 302, so there is quite a bit of headroom for amps on the 9.1's.
For £120 they are amazing value for money and I really can't fault them. :)
