I had a NAD C355BEE on loan for a week while I was at home and the sound was noticeably punchier and 'bigger' than my 302, so there is quite a bit of headroom for amps on the 9.1's.
For £120 they are amazing value for money and I really can't fault them. :)

Ye the 9.1's are good speakers. I have a set hooked up to my NAD C325BEE (which i am also selling at the moment for a bargain price).

Nice set up there Oxy.
Love those Quad's!!!

Just one tip mate. Get some cable wraps and run them at the bottom of your skirting. It will hide the cables nicely. You can get them in White, Black and Brown. They do make a lot of difference and do tidy things up to give an even more professional look.

And get a Logitech Harmony 1000!

Thanks photoshop :)

What you suggested is next on my to do list. Need to save now for the Harmony ;)

I personally love it. Music is detailed, clear and well controlled. Video/films are brilliant and games a joy to listen to.

They improve vastly over the course of a week of use and while the NAD 302 isn't a powerhouse it can deliver volumes that can be heard at the other end of the corridor with ease, not that I actually do that though.

Thanks for tht m8 i will get hunting on ebay!

My old Trio broke on the journey down to uni, with one channel dying.. so.

New amp. NAD C340. Nice and powerful, and I can't notice distortion or anything even when cranked, especially compared to my old amp; it's not much louder at top volume, just more clear. Not really seeing much of a change in sound, except maybe slightly more highs, which I dialled out anyway :p.

Current Uni setup. Bit of a mess due to being in my room lots, despite not being here for long enough to get it all sorted out, since I've been revising.

NAD C340, Dell Studio15, KEF Cresta 2, Cambridge Soundworks DTT2200(minus 3 speakers) for films etc.).
Not the best for sound, but it's all I can really do in this room.

Just redecorated my room. Cables are a mess in this pic but I have now hidden them all. Will take a pic of that later.

Screen wall was painted Red Current Glory from Dulux and the rest of the room was painted Sea Blue also from Dulux.

shame about the carpet ;):p

Money saved on the carpet can be spent on the hi-fi..... :D

n-Sats are ideal for my room as its fairly small and I haven't got room for anything much bigger, they also work well close to the wall. They are fantastic little speakers, they seem a tad lean a first compared to my old B&W's however I think it was more that they were a little bit boomy rather than bassy. They are sounding much a better after a month of useage, I was thinking of adding a REL sub at a later date however I'm not that bothered at the mo.

Next step is a CD5x and a Flatcap 2x. :D
