OcUK Minecraft Server - Rules & Chat

ohhh ffs, someones tnt'ed a big area of desert near the colleseum and next to my new temple which i only built yesterday. I picked that area because of its expansive desert and now the landscapes ruined *sigh*

That will be me sadly. I've tried to get the admins to revert my tnting to no avail.

It shouldn't update it's self unless you're using the mega old launcher. Get the new .exe off the website and it will ask you if you want to update.

As for downgrading, its on the last few pages somewhere. But make sure you get the new launcher or it will be pointless downgrading.

It seems that I have been removed from the whitelist despite offering a solution to the desert problem which would be acceptable to both parties.

It is rather disappointing to say the least that the admins do not wish to act/serve the community.

put the sand back yourself.

MUWAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Also I see comments about laying in bed.. how you do that?

& last but not least, anyone here use Misa texture pack & upgraded to 1.6 then reverted back & got Tex pack to still run??

coz the install instructions is you have to delete the Bin file & re run game - up it lads 1.6 durr lol, tried using Freddies bin file but still dont work.. I wnat a tex pack & i want one now! lol

It shouldn't realy be an admin priority to fix everyones stupid mistakes, unless it is something very major that the player can't fix himself or refuses to. Admins have lots of important stuff to do and their job is not to serve the community but just to help manage it and help keep it running in a fun manner, not do all the work for you.

I could have posted a picture of the major damage, but I can't.

Go behind gundog's build and build a little viewing platform and see for yourself.

It's quite simple if you have made a mistake then fix it.

It is unfair of you to chastise any of the admin team for supposedly not supporting/serving the community when that is one of the main things that we do in fact do. As part of the community you owe everyone else the same respect for their land, projects & everything else. That also includes taking careful consideration for your actions. You have made a mistake which you can easily fix. Will it take some time? Yes, but that's just one of those things.

When you return - Tp yourself over to the unstable land & collect the sand. Go to the area that needs the sand & replace. Rinse & repeat.

Maybe if you ask nicely someone will be willing to help you out.

Since I'm removed the whitelist, I can't fix it. If you want it fixed - grab some dirt and plant some trees as 70% of the sand was destroyed in the blast.

Came across a missing chunk earlier at the back of gundogs castle. It looks as though its known as there is fence around it. I fell down it and got kicked for flying lol!

Known world hole - apparently it has been filled in before but it keeps disappearing.

EDIT: I can't be bothered to waste my time and energy trying to get my point across any more. If you need materials to patch it up, go to the airport and take cobble out of the donation chests (I put it there in the first place).

I really should erect a larger fence around it in the short term since if you fall it in your inventory will be lost.

It is know to us and I've filled it twice from a backup but we are still trying to determine the cause and why it keeps reappearing. It is essentially the 0/0 chunk which is the new maps original spawn (our spawn was moved to suit the location of the copied over buildings). Taking the repair of this slowly and with a lot of testing given the region file for this chunk is the most densely populated.
