If you apply that logic to BF3 then its the most popular game in the universe... except a lot of people are disappointed with it

I had my first crash in game last night, followed by another a few minutes later. I presume this is something that's been introduced in the latest patch.

Running my video card @ 55fps limit so my video card is nice and cool - very much doubt it's that.

Could be connected to something in the area. I know Fallout 3 had some bizarre crashing problems where it'd run fine for hours/days/weeks, then crash multiple times in 30 minutes in the same area.

Have you done a clean save? It is weird, but it works very well. go to interior cell -Save in a clean slot - quit - Re-enable any new mods you have applied - load it up again - make a new save again in a new slot - quit and load again.

It could be a mod that is causing it, as some do require you to have a clean save. Even if it is not a mod, this worked for me. I did not disable enable any mods, and a clean save stopped me crashing constantly at the same point.

Hrm it seemed OK once I'd got out of Ysgrammor's tomb tbh. I haven't updated any mods or anything either. The one thing I find with NMM is that I can't be bothered to update mods anymore as it's too much hassle...

A clean save is worth a try even if you do not disable any mods. As I said, I was crashing every single time at exactly the same point in the dungeon where you confront Mercer in the TG arc. All I did was save new slot-quit-reload and it never crashed again!

Cheers, I'll give that a go.

I'm quite enjoying playing again as my lvl47 toon. I've not bothered using anything above Orcish Armour and the odd levelled group of enemies is actually doing some damage now.

I still feel pretty invincible but it's more about the exploration now.

lol i see your point there, im looking for a game with some decent game time in it and i do like the free roam idea of it so i guess its worth a try at least

Looks like they have fixed the dagger trick to speed up smithing

ok that was yesterday - bizarrely on re-booting and playing Skyrim today -the kill-cam for Archery is now working and looks superb

Sweet, hopefully mine will do the same when I re-boot later. Thought it may have had a problem with the exploding arrows mod I am running. They should look 'freakin superb!

1.5 Patch just released on steam, but how do you enable kill cams? I just killed some people and I can see any difference, anyone have any ideas?
