They seem to have settled in well,

11pm last night and I had this :D (click for video)

And then this morning, this :D :D (again another video)

I think i'm a bit in love with them already, they've clearly been very well brought up so far by their foster Mum (who was very sad to see them go) :)

Looking great.

Dave has similar markings to one of ours, Twiglet. Really reminds me of when he was a kitten. Go the black and whites! We have a black and white and a tabby too.

They look like they will be loads of fun. Here's ours small and then much larger!

sorry but Vaseline.. contraceptive pills.. :DDD its GD after all don't hate.. :D

Unfortunate combination, the pills are there cos they are, the vaseline is there for lip balm. Trust me, nothing sinister, nor what YOU are thinking. :p

I'm not normally in the habit of putting kittens in the washing machine but a photo opportunity presented itself and I had to oblige:

this kitten has been hanging out in my backyard since born so Ive made an appointment to get her spayed and she moves inside full-time later this week to join the other kits.
I think her mom who drops bye now and then has just had another litter but Ive no idea where it's at. I will call her Sasha

Why dont you get both kittens? 2 is no more work than one and they'll keep each other company when your not around.
I'd also recommend two cats, they are good entertainment for each other.
Oh well, that idea went out of the window. The owners turned out to be somewhat unreliable and wanted rid as quick as possible, leading to both kittens going to separate homes before I could get a chance to see them, despite being 'promised' first refusal.

So that leaves me with looking around the local area for a suitable animal.

I'm still not 100% sure on the multiple kittens route, but it's growing on me and only a little more work than just having one. But if I can't find a pair from the same litter, can you reliably mix kittens (of roughly the same age) from different litters?

Oh, and as far as 'starter kits' go, do these look like sensible choices when it comes to the basics?

Carrier, Litter tray, Litter, Bowls and Scratching post thingy.
