I just use a PC into a Denon DN-A7100 pro preamp/processor. Going to a Optoma projector on a 106" screen

speakers are active PSI mastering monitors for the mains, a BK XXLS400 sub and some dinky fostex PM05 actives for the rears. No centre.

works for me. :)

Viewing distance is between 6-10ft, depending on seating position, so the larger size works.

The TV motion control works very well, means you never need the remote to change anything, just raise your hand and move it around :)
The voice control is less useful because it just takes longer to speak and wait for the system to process your commands than it does to press buttons on the remote or use motion control.

The soundbar really improves the impact and Samsung's Soundshare system is amazing.

I'm all for PSI, lovely pieces of kit, especially those A25's.

However, nearfield for a cinema setup? How close are you to them?

They're midfields. I have them about 2.5m away from me to give me enough space for the doorway behind them, with a sub filling in any lost bass from their positioning.

The manual says they're for use 2-4m away.

I have ongoing ear problems which makes me not hear bass properly. They're sort of a waste at the moment. Thinking about selling them and just buying another pair of dinky fostex.

What are these like? how does it effect lots of white and grey content. Does it cause it to look more blue/yellow like white?

Also what mode do you watch your TV with this on? as I've been reading up on this bias lighting. To see natural colours you've to use a 6500k light behind the TV and a neutral grey wall.
