Swapped out my 360 for the Xbox One. TBH it's barely any different (size-wise) compared to my previous one!

Does look a bit angular next to the Sky box though :D

Hi Mate, nice set up, how you finding the GT60 Panny with a HTPC, do you leave it on the same screens for a while IE any burn in issues or anything? Reason I ask is because im currently stuck between buying a Samsung UE50F6670 and a Panny TXP50GT60B which is I assume what you have?

The Samsungs cheaper price, lower power consumption and no burn-in issues to worry about has my attention but I have heard about quite a lot screen issues with them such as DSE, corner shadows etc and I know the Panny has a great quality picture but when using the HTPC I tend to leave the desktop up for a while or if on the internet toolbars etc are on the screen for ages and worried that I could get burn-in which worries me, have you had any issues? :/

Does anyone have any DALI ZENSOR 5 here? If so what do you think? Worth the cash....

I can't comment on the Zensor series but I have DALI suite 2.5's for fronts and Dali Fazon Sat's for the rears and am very happy with the sound quality.

I am no expert by any means but from my experience and a lot of reviews online most DALI stuff seems to be well regarded.

Never noticed any burn at all.

Here is my Bedroom/Home cinema that I completed recently which consists of

Benq W1070 Projector (1080p/3D)
Abis 100" 16:9 motorised screen
Sony STR-DH820 receiver
Tannoy TFX 5.1 speakers
Sony BD130 smart Blu-ray player
Sony PS3
Asus inspire one netbook
Icecrypt T2300 HD freeview box

I really love my bedroom :)

Screen down & lights on

Lights off

It looks smaller in the pictures than it actually is

I'm looking at buying that projector kingy, what's your opinion on it?

Well I don't really have anything else to compare it with as it is my first projector. I just read some reviews which seemed to say it is a good projector and I ordered it from richer sounds. I can tell you I was blown away by the clarity of 1080p content and also the motion is smoooooth compared to LCD TV's and on a par with my Panasonic Plasma in the living room. The only thing that is maybe slightly disappointing is black definition/shadows but I put that down to the nature of a projector and not just this Benq.

Why a bedroom not the front room?

A number of reasons really
1) The living room does not need decorating and the bedroom did
2) The shape of the Living room and where the couch/chairs/TV are situated would not fit in as we would have to sit in the bay window area and project onto the far wall. The room really is not the right shape to do this but the bedroom is the perfect shape, layout and measurement to have the screen 3 metres from the projector which is the perfect throw distance for a 100" screen on the Benq W1070.
3) This projector gets used on a Saturday night for a film or two and sometimes to watch the footy or PS3 game (footy and games is not what my girlfriend wants watch so she watches TV on the 50" plasma in the living room).

I really am glad that the projector is in the bedroom as it makes Saturday nights a bit special. We get our popcorn, sweets, beer and wine and take them to the bedroom and then just lounge on our comfy bed watching a film. I think that having it in the living room would just feel exactly the same as having a large tv.

Just got myself a new Panny P42ST60 for £570 - albeit only with 2 year warranty. Pretty chuffed with that. Will be my first plasma! I played around with one at my local panasonic store and just had to have it! Even though I didn't buy it from them (much too expensive there: £850....) They let me load up quake live and if I'm honest I really couldn't feel much lag wise. It felt fine playing. I'm guessing if you're competitive in any sort of way it would be a bother but if not then I don't see the problem.
