I have a Powercolor jack i use to use to support my heaviest cards. Worked a treat!

Now it is supported via acrylic custom watercooling, but these jacks would be my first choice of solutions if i suffered from this problem. Also i think it is bending more than you realise, I used paint to make a line parallel to the top of the blue PCI plastic slot and then lowered it to where you have your current black line to find that the bend is seriously sketchy!

Would not feel comfortable firing that up for a few hours with that bend!

Sweet, looks like a beast of a card.

For those who are looking for the performance of the R9 290X without the noise, however, this may be the perfect solution.

Have to say the Gigabyte Windforce is pretty quiet too, I was expecting it to be quite loud from all the talk of noisy 290X's but I rarely notice the sound of it at all:

R290X Lightening is very quiet on the standard cooling solution and temps are good too.

Gibbo posted some info on temps the other day, does look good.

Got a feeling though this card will be very expensive.

I asked if they had plans to do a Hawk 290, but they said nope, just one 290 which shall be gaming model, which OcUK is already listing.
