But why soon as I switch off Freesync I see tearing? Vsync isn't on in game.. Only setting I change is Freesync enabled or disabled in settings..

Am going to see if recording picks it up.

Might just be your eyes as I remember when GSYNC came about you said you couldn't see tearing at high fps anyway, now you can and it seems you're trying to say freesync is working at 300fps. You also can't see ghosting when using AMA off on a monitor which is used to combat ghosting and I remember you saying you couldn't see stutter in videos other people could.

Never said such thing! I said I dont notice screen tear unless I look for it.. Am now looking for it because am testing FreeSync.

The latency is so low that you cant see the tearing. So many frames per second

This i mean i've place CSGO and css for years taring is not an issue :D

it's maps are so linear and blank and easy to create.

All I can say is that freesync feels smother even when lots of things are going on in csgo.

No idea then, recording is very hard without having some sort slow motion recording..

Either way so far am very happy.. Not noticing any input lag, from locking frame rate to 144hz, 120hz feels the same as running 300fps to me..

That is a very massive plus for Freesync.

Wow!

I am truly impressed!

1440p 144hz a single 290x at the plane crash Ultra with fxaa gets around 50-60-70fps Mostly around 60fps

This amount frame rate change gives off a motion judder effect when using Vsync or even Vsync off..

With Freesync the game is super smooth, quite shocked! So I then lower to 1080p give me higher frame rate just to see if I notice any difference in the feel..

Now at 1080p game is around 80-100fps
I honestly couldn't notice a difference!

Mind blown!

Lets just hope I have the patience to wait for the CF driver, have a funny feeling we won't see it in April as suggested.

I've gave up :( , would like a TX but be damned if am paying them prices

Edit: Just to note its not CF woe's that's what's making me jump

Interesting read here FreeSync vs Gsync Performance.. Think PCper Also shown result am sure I seen other day they did side by side.

Seems AMD was correct on the overhead, while it seems small here in these games I want to see CSGO side by side..

You don't have permission to access /games/295/G029549/20150319126/SS/023.jpg on this server.

Both site'sseem to be using the AMD figures on Gsync/freesync latency , not saying its wrong but would be interesting to see a independent monitor review test it for bothsides
