I can deal with minor scuffs. It's a cracked screen when dropped that would make me sad.

Definitely running a case once I get an S7. I've had a massively cracked Moto X 2nd gen for 6 months or so now.

Cracked screen would be an easy replacement through insurance no?

Gonna upgrade my Natwest bank account which has mobile insurance just for the S7E.

The screen is part of the touch screen apparently which costs more to replace than the phone is worth.

It's bought as a single unit which is around £100. It's been ages since I looked into it. New phone ordered now anyway.

Anyone else find the bog standard Samsung keyboard a joy to use ? Usually I put fleksy or swift key on my phone straight away. But I seem to be able to type just as fast with the basic Samsung one. And the word suggestion and correction seems to be almost perfect. Happy days !

I believe he means a glass only repair is not possible on the edge, the whole glass/LCD/digitizer assembly has to be replaced which is £££.

Yep!!!

I didn't use a case for my S6 Edge and I don't plan to get one for my S7 Edge.

Why buy a nice phone then ruin it with a case? Makes no sense to me!!

true but if its like every other clear case it'll do little to add grip / drop prevention. All clear cases I've tried are slippery sods!
