Just ordered it for deliv friday

. Got pretty much identical to you, except instead of the 1 door cupboard you got, I went for the 3 drawer ped for a extra £20.

yeah it looks really smart in the pics by rich and access, so I thought why not! I wanted to get it for the bank hol weekend for obvious reasons!

They do, but i'm not going to be in on Friday- got sixth form, you see. Plus, i haven't finished painting my room yet so i thought it'd be better for it to be delivered next week when i know i'll definitely be at home. Be sure to post some pictures of yours when you get yours! Have you thought about getting the hutch?

Yeah Ill whack some images together when its all finished, gonna take a while cos im gonna setup the stuff i have at the moment in the spare room... I just store my junk in there at th emoment, so might aswell make it pretty

Got no interest in the hutch tbh, I wouldn;t want it... it would just take up room.

I ordered mine last night coming tomorrow. Just need to make room so it'll all fit.

That's a point, i guess i should get a tape measure out and see where's best to put it.

On a different note: shine, seeing as you seem to have experience with LCD displays, would you advise me to get an NEC 20WGX2 over a HP w2207? I just saw the latter last night, and i'm wondering if the NEC would be too small. Since this is going to be just for gaming, does it matter that the 22" has a large pixel pitch, which is likely to emphasis jaggies, and poor vertical viewing angles, making the top of the monitor darker than the bottom? If so, the extra £100 i'd spend on the NEC would be justified, but i can't help thinking if the money would be wasted just for a gaming monitor. I'm obviously going to have it for years, so it's definitely worth getting a good monitor, but is the HP w2207 really that bad compared to it?

I've had a look at the thread on the HP and I have to say I would still stick with the NEC. If I was buying a monitor today I'd stick with the choice I've made - its an exceptional monitor and worth the premium IMO.

Isn't the HP w2207 getting very good comments? I thought it was one of the best 22" monitors available. I don't want to get the NEC and wish i'd got a bigger display. Similarly, i don't want to get the HP and wish i'd spent more on better quality display.

It is but I still think the NEC has the edge. If I had a choice between 20" or 22" I'd go 20 and if I wanted the extra inches get 24". Remember 22" doesn't give you any more pixels.

Would a 22" seem less sharp than a 20" monitor then? This is really my main concern, apart from the poor vertical viewing angles.
