I have the rev 1.6 ud3r and it works perfect, im at 4ghz atm. Think I need to replace my power supply to take it any further. Im using the 5670.

EX58-UD3R or X58A-UD3R?

I'll be honest, I have no idea what good scores are on these really. Just aimed to beat the last score with a bit of fine tinkering.

Think I have found the sweet spot for my X5670.

Tweaked a few bits and bobs, nothing major. Seems to have done the trick.

Finally got 1000 on Cinebench, so I am happy. lol

Thanks for that ive just had my 5670 turn up just waiting on a couple of fans for my silver arrow, my ic diamond to turn up and lapping kit and ill be set to go

got my 12gb of dominator gt's running sweet at 2000mhz so hopefully can loosen the timings from c9 to c10 give it some blck boosts @ 22x

I might have a look at getting one of these, I still have my x58 set up say in a cupboard doing nothing, I have an X58A-UD3R.

Can you share your bios settings please? Nice scores btw... Im stuck at 4ghz and i have tried everything. :confused:

£143 inc postage 3x4gb 2000mhz cl9 Ive always wanted a set but 6gb is be coming old hat now

I think ive finally found the problem! why i can only get stable at 4ghz and no more. My power supply is about 5 years old now i think (pc power and cooling 750 watt).

Yep got it to 4.4ghz and stable needed 1.408 vCore to keep it happy though. Actually got poorer scores than 4.3ghz so decided not to push the vCore for so little gain, well actually none at all.

Would my voltage dipping cause my system to be unstable at all? any help would be appreciated before i splash out on a new power supply...

Is this true?

ATX12V specifications acceptable voltage ranges:

+12V: +11.4V ~ +12.6V

+5V: +4.75V ~ +5.25V

+3.3V: +3.14V ~ +3.47V

Your voltage readings are well within the ATX12V specs.

I know the 12v rail is fine, it was the 3.3 and 5v i was concerned about mate. And also im just trying to find out why the hell i cant get the pc stable at a higher oc...
