I'm in for 3. Workstation upgrades so won't be clocking the shizzle out of them but hoping for 4Ghz 24/7. Thanks for the heads up, for this price its a steal.

would like to play with one ,motherboards are hard to find and quite expensive
Did you just pick one off eBay? Do I need kt look for a particular stepping?
Yes mate I got mine from eBay.
There's quite a few to choose from, all depends on how much you want to spend with what model you want.
Definitely worth the upgrade!!!
i was just looking at 5650's is that what you got?

It's a X5675 mate, I got it cheap though. Was a bit off a one of bargain at £110 delivered. X5675 don't come up often especially at that price.
Had to snag that deal as they are worth more than that normally.
Just got lucky I guess!
If I could shift my 920 in MM for 30 quid i'll punt if I can get a 5650 for 60 but not pouring 100 quid into my x58 system
What are these like with RAM? Currently running a P6T with a 920C (3.8) and 24gb RAM but these processors say they can take a lot more.
Tempting to try one of these and stretch my x58 a bit longer, 5650 is easy to get to 4.2-4.4ish? or should i be looking at a higher model

I'm just curious to know what temperatures you guys are running with your overclocked Xeons, and what cooling you are using.
You can ignore the second question if you want, I can look into that myself when I get home from work.
