Why, because of the voltage? Triple channel shouldn't be a problem since you can buy 2+1 sticks of the same type.

You don't need to have a dedicated tri channel set, any 3 sticks of matched memory should be fine.

I have before now had tri channel running perfectly on 3 mismatched sticks

Motherboards are the tricky part to find.

Think that's my limit on vcore, if I had the guts I think it'd be good for 4.6ghz at 1.39-1.4v and about 85'c.

Would there be away to overclock the HP Z600 assuming the bios is locked, is there a software tool that could bump up the FSB ? ...... just wondering

Just realised I've run out of compressed air. Bit annoying since I was gonna de-dust my cooler when swapping in the Xeon. :/

Joined the club tonight, strangely wasn't stable at stock. Changed the config to 4ghz 1.31v and its rock solid now, perhaps it the pci running at 101 or it was just crying out to be overlocked ;D

Came in at 881 on cinebench.
