14300 in 3d mark 2001

hi guys i have the demo version of 3dmark 2001 (e.g 16tests not 17) and got a score of 14300, check my sig. is this any good? cheers

It depends on what GFx card you have. I have 24000ish with my config (and i'm running 2 monitors off my GFx card) in 3DMark01. My config is also in my sig.

would that be a x800xl 512?

because the standard clocks are lower than a x800xt pe, have you overclocked at all?

nope...stock speeds 400mhz, everytime i run Trixx pc crashes and ati tool is good but get vpu recovery and then crash.

you guys say the score is a bit low...not seriously low?? right??

Not SERIOUSLY low bit is is quite low considering your VERY nice CPU overclocking. I used to get 6000 on a GF3, 18000 on a 6600GT (8 pipelines) so your score does seem quite low....still don't listen to me What do I know?!?!

What speed is your RAM running at? I get 18000ish on 200MHz, 24000ish on 400MHz. It makes quite a large difference.

well i ran it and i got 24754 everything at stock due to the damn heat.

I would say that it's probably right for your card, if you could overclock then u could achieve much higher scores

lol thanks for the overclock mention guess what.....the second i come on here to grip bout my ati tool and Trixx they both decide they wana work, but the temps im getting are too high so im gona leave them stock and apply sum AS5 to the gpu 2moro morning...cheers for the input guys appreciate it. i will post 2moro if it all hits the fan...........(you know it will...cya 2moro )

ram timings....now thats something i need to talk 2 someone about...cos i dont have a clue. i understand them but just dont know how im changing them and what is safe to change with my particular memory... Sticklyman my boy we will defo chat 2moro

i think the score is far too low. my x800gto (12pipes, 128mb ddr1) pulls over 24k at stock speeds. admittedly my cpu is good at 3dmark01, it should not account for over 10000 more points in this benchmark.

14k is seriously low, I got that years ago with much worse hardware.

Make sure AA and AF are disabled and that nothing is running in the background.

3DMark2001 is a system benchmark now so the CPU and Memory have a large impact on the final score.

thats probably where u fall, assuming you've done all the tweaks etc

3400 clawhammer and X800pro with 16 pipes and i get a smidge under 24k
