Just saw on the news that the Syrian kids sister also being bullied, again filmed on phone. I’m sure some of the commentators in here will claim these 2 incidents are not related.

surely connected because of the school, I bet there's a whole bunch of people even British kids bullied at the same school with video recordings of it.

I'd be surprised if there's a single school in Britain where it doesn't happen.

Everything gets filmed on phones these days. They really should ban kids from having phones in school. There's absolutely no need for them. Every pupil can be reached in an emergency by phoning the school.

But I know how it is (because I have nephews and nieces). Even primary school aged kids are taking phones and tablets into school now.

Hence, everything that has always happened is now still happening, but also being recorded.

With the vast sums of money being donated you'd think he'd been tortured every day since he arrived in this country by children trained by the CIA in illegal torture techniques.


I don't get why people are trying to make out it's some horrific attack, I'm sure other school children in the past have been set on fire, defecated and urinated on without it making headline news.

How many uk children have been involved in stabbing incidents at schools? sure there's more than a few and we've got some kid crying about a bit of water.

God forbid his family are here during a snow period and he gets snowballed it might cause PTSD for life.

And yet we should not expect children to need to be violent because of a ****** worthless schooling system. Ofsted needs to be limited in it's approach to this sort of issue, because clearly schools can't do diddly without wondering if their funding will be destroyed.

Sanctions to the families of bullies should also be a thing, as at least in this case where the family is a bunch of scumbags, it'd at least be valid enforcement against people this country doesn't need. Someone should be watching this kid like a hawk for the rest of his living life, as i imagine he's going to be a criminal in some form if this is the au-naturale way of his behaviour.

It's an issue that has always been brushed under the carpet. Not least because teachers are scared of litigation if they get involved.

I mean I wasn't asking if it was possible, I was asking if it was allowed. Whilst I think the police getting involved is OTT, now that it's happened doesn't fleeing just make it worse for him? Or would the police not care? I'm genuinely unaware of the rules/laws surrounding this.

He is fleeing the country because of the bullying and death threats, which are OK in some peoples eyes because, er...reasons....People online were threatening to stab and kill the 16year old BOY for godsake, but never mind, a Syrian got £100k+ so thats OK.

The whole thing is a microcosm of the damage to society that social media really is doing. What is worse is that authories are now bending to social media pressure making the whole thing a self fulfilling prophecy.

I believe you have to hand in your passport if you have been charged with an offence and are out on bail.

Has he actually left the country? I can't see anything on Google, are you sure this isn't some nonsense Twitter rumour or something?

I can find reports that the police are providing some sort of protection following threats online but nothing about fleeing the country.
