Before anyone gets all teary eyed, just remember, in Germany 16yr old Syrian boys have raped and murdered 15 year old native German girls. A lot of the influx of these people are not angels.

What if I was to say "Remember, a couple of 10 year old Brits murdered a 2 year old. A lot of these Brits are not angels."

Or

"Remember, a couple of 13+14 year old British girls murdered a woman and filmed it on snapchat. A lot of these Brits are not angels."

Or perhaps

"Remember, a trio of British teenagers murdered a homeless man whilst he was sleeping rough, for a dare. A lot of these Brits are not angels."

Maybe attributing the behaviours of individuals/small groups to entire or majority of a group might be a silly thing to do. But who knows, maybe you think Brits are not angels either. I mean, then you can't think any one group of people are angels because literally every nation or race has a bunch of scumbags in it.

Why would a child have to surrender his passport for such a trivial crime, I doubt any adult would either for silly offences

It is based on personal circumstances, you're basing it on a set figure. I wonder if the taxman will want a large chunk of that donation?

I didn't say the 16 year old would have to give up his passport, as a trivial crime probably wouldn't involve bail.
 
In my time in the 90s, had a ******* white kid did that to me, plus only one of the few Brown kids in school. I would have made sure he didn't go home early that night. . So yea defending from white folks was a normal thing back then.

So I have full sympathy for the Syrian kid. As for the noob who mentioned something about Germany etc. What's that got to do with anything. What's ever happening in Germany leave them be. The authorities over there can deal with them.

Typical GD. Haters will always hate.
 
It’s amazing how this incident has bought out the worst in people on this forum too.

Sounds like some of you went to some lovely schools as kids, which also explains a lot.

I agree. Video of kid bullied and some references to someone killing themselves, but most of the responses are:

- Vid wasn’t that bad.

- I survived worse.

- He doesn’t deserve any money.

- There might be more to this story.

- But he’s Syrian sooooo.

It’s overzealous at best and disturbing at worst.

Wtf guys.

Not really, to some extent.
I also survived worse
I also dished out worse
I didn't make a lot of money because of refugee guilt.
This happens 10000 times a day in the UK but because he is a "poor" Syrian refugee everyone throws money at him trying to show what a great humanitarian they are. It's so fake and false.
Poor kid, poor sister. Being different is always a pain.
Debate about bullying goes on.
 
Stuff all this, is there ANY truth to the claims that the Syrian kid beat someone up prior to this? It's pivotal.

I'm a white male born and raised in Britain. Back in the 1970's I used to get in to fist fights and also get dead-legged kicked or knocked to the ground now and then mainly from the older or bigger built white males (that was just for the laughs for them), girls used to fight mainly pulling the other girls hair out and sometimes a punch would be thrown or a kick, bare knuckle fights was the norm outside school grounds. We used to misbehave and get sent to the head master and/or the deputy headmaster for a right old thrashing or it was the cane across the hand or both hands, I was on a couple of occasions picked up by a teacher and slammed into a wall for misbehaving in the classroom (this slamming was done out of sight in the headmasters office), a deputy headmaster at my high school once slammed a large book down on my head in front of every one else, at a middle school I was hit with a cricket bat on the leg and behind by the headmaster simply for jostling with another school kid in the dinner assembly line-up. Many simply came from broken homes or the household is on a very low income, I was refused into school once because my parents could not afford a proper school uniform, I turned up to school in some old checked trouser which the school did not accept as part of its dress code, by the way, the trouser were hand-me-downs or from jumble sales haha. I have to say though that the media and social media can stir up contentions. What was seen in that video was nothing in comparison to what I have seen happen on school grounds by the pupils and the teachers themselves back then. @GoFundioMeO for thousands of others? show me the money, hahaha!

And the "threats" on social media shouldn't be taken seriously anyway, when was the last time someone actually carried one out?

Twitter especially is a toxic cesspit and no one should take notice of anything posted on it.
