This, I'm already predicting big release prices but then that's nothing new. A select few will price gouge and a select few won't but those that don't will have limited availability. Always the way

if price is over 300 im not buying til they drop :D cba spending that much for a single gpu
 
Im predicting £290 for the price of the 1gig 5870 model
£160 for the 5850 model and £335 for the 5870 2gig model

And if the 5870 1gig model is over £300 per card i wont be getting 2 of them, so OCUK keep the price under £299 and you have a customer paying £600 on wedensday. :)

Woops LOL EDIT : £260 not £160 for the 5850 lol

It will be a really retrograde step to release 1gb cards. More and more games are starting to be limited especially as resolutions have gone higher and Full HD :rolleyes: is taking off more.

I'll shell out £300 for a 2Gb 5870 but no more tbh.
