And use a USB 2 slot at the back of the PC if you have one - otherwise USB 3.
What size is the USB stick your using and does it only have Windows 10 on it?
Its installed, its just doing an update. It detected the wireless card and connected to the internet, i downloaded that screen saver to what the screen look like.Yep, no drivers installed.
Have you reached a screen yet which gives you a choice of install?
Or have you ploughed on with install (not a problem if you have - as long as SSD is only hooked up)?
Looks like you let windows install drivers etc - rather than opting for critical updates only - not a problem?
I would let windows update - may take a while - and then install the latest GPU drivers and chipset.
We ideally need to run some stress tests and check temps etc but i need to get to bed soon.
It ideally shouldn't have been hooked up - so that's a good thing. It will need initialising in disk management (create and format HDD partitions).
Temps are fine.
We'll work through the check list tomorrow. Let it update - odd are Windows will add all the drivers as you've selected recommended updates (not a problem).
We'll activate your other HDD - and get you fully operational tomorrow - maybe around about 10'ish depending on calls.
Glad to see it up and running @leeince with awesome assistance from @Plec
I took the opportunity for sleep when the kids went down..... As you can see one is now up ! ....
Some reason on fresh install of Windows, never auto installs other disk drive ... But when you do , get a lot of options how you want it .
Once it's updated to Windows Fall ... Create a restore point. You have to manually enter this into the search bar !!!! Pain but really useful
Build is looking good , down the line a nice CPU cooler to really push and learn some over clocking
Cable management is an as art form. You'll find you can hid. Lot of cables if they were routed from behind the Mobo before it was installed like SATA, usb and Mobo connections .
Can spare cables just zip tie them in a small tight bunch behind the Mobo tray
no worries, list seems solid - gigabytes app centre is pretty good. sometimes i just install that and it finds and downloads and updates all of its apps haha
