@orbitalwalsh sorry mate but ive just been watching sime videos refarding the Aorus 1080ti and the car has two power input connectors? Will i hse them both and will my power supply habe two leads?

Im guessing all parts come with basic install instructions?

Both builds use the same motherboard - only use them as guides as the BIOS etc will have updated so links may not be valid.

Top mam Plec, thank you mate!! Im watching loads of videos and at times im thinking "this will be a doddle, no problem" then I watch another and it throws a few spanners about and gives me more questions. I will keep the thread updated, thanks again.

@Plec so i start reading that thread and now im worried;)

Ive got windows on a usb stick, I thought that once built, I turn the pc on, put the stick in a usb port and then install windows to the SSD?

Am i supposed to be doing something with the bios, sorry mate but thats confused me?

Edit: I just found some info, am i right in thinking all i need to is check the bios for is that the info is correct, ram ect....and then select boot from usb?

Also you talk about the latest bios version? Should i be downloading that to a seperate usb stick, will my board not be up to date??

Im sure once im done i will be pleased ive done it but...............its a scary thing when youve not done it before!

When the boards first came out you needed to update the BIOS immediately to help with memory compatibility. I personally would still do this but when you do your initial boot check the BIOS version. If it's a relatively recent release - you can roll with it and update later if you run into issues.

BIOS F8 or later ideally - but the latest AGESA update is best to have installed.

When installing windows do i plug the usb stick into any usb socket and set boot priority to ssd and then press f12 while still in the bios screen?

Getting scared now lads;) delivery is due in about 40 minutes and I have a table booked for half 2 for lunch.

Once back (about half 3 ish) I will post some pics and start!!

When jump starting the ststem out of the case with the screwdriver? This sound scarey as hell!! Can i not blow everything up? Myself include lol??

All the bits have arrived, do you need to use image hosting sites for overclockers??

One quick question, ive noticed the ssd and hdd dont come with leads to connect them to the motherboard, are these in with the motherboard?

Ive copied the forum url off photobucket, clicked the picture ucon next to the smiley face amd pasted the url but its not working? This done bode well for later

Take care with Ryzen CPU . Has the pins of on the bottom , make sure you insert it the right way up .
Mobo manual will tell you - can remember off top of my head and kids are awake so can't take a snap for you

Cheers mate just off for lunch. I remember one of the videos mentionind a yellow triangle to line up for the CPU but i will check it top man.

Ive started, Im just unboxing the monitor, the case and then im going to load up a youtube video and unboxing MB and get the CPU installed!!
 
I have three of these 2 completr and on not, im guessing they are to control thr fans and the empty one is for an addition fan? Im just going to tuck these out the way, and feed the other leads through before.mounting the MB. Cpu, cooler and ram installed.
