You generally can't pre order with PC parts . I don't understand where this fallacy has come from. It's only during paper launches that really happens.
Wink thread denotes stock, so the stock is there.

Usually stock arrives, days later nda lifts. Reviews are up and stock is available. That's a standard launch . It all happens on the same day. Anything else is none standard
 
I considered this thread being aimed at the r3's, which would be fine.

R3 nda lifted product available is normal launch, however threads ripping was the theme :p
