Oooooo a card coming out around the same price and performance as something we have had for years and years! Yay, how exciting!

The absolute state of the graphics card market at the moment..wow

It's a Black Friday deal, not an entire new line up launch. What do you expect from thin air, RTX Titan?

As for the 'state' of the graphics card market, it's in great shape the most sold cards are in the £100-250 range, and those are the only cards getting faster and staying the same price. If you are one of these mad fools who spends 100% more money for 20-30% more performance, then tough really.

With a comment like that I have to ask if you do actually know what's been going on...

Yes. until this generation we could always mostly look forward to new cards coming out that were much faster and replaced the price points of the previous cards making them obsolete. Said obsolete cards then got sold off cheap as chips, often at something like half their original cost.

This year/generation, not so much. Its either Nvidia taking the **** with the silly priced RTX series, or AMD stuck refreshing polaris year on year.

So you're crying because it's only been this year that's been a bust? If AMD refreshing Polaris all the time is such an issue, perhaps you'd care to share your expertise with them and pull a new, competitive arch out of your pocket?

It won't be 1070 speeds as that puts it on par with vega 56 then.

Expect 580 speeds but maybe 5-10% faster at most....

I think you meant 1070 Ti = Vega 56.

However yes, it will be about 10% faster than a stock RX 580, if there is some headroom in the 12nm process you might get 1700MHz out of it which will put it behind the GTX 1070 still, but we'll have to wait to see how much :)

I think it is a pretty good deal 3 new games, new graphics card, faster than the 580 and 1060, probably 1070 speeds for £250 or so.

Won't be 1070 speeds, and not light years away from my 390x that I paid about £250 over 3 years ago.

It's a shame right now, as cpus are such bargains. If gpus had to come down we could see such a bigger user base.

So the games included are Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry 5, and The Division 2, at £229-299 depending on the card. ;)

God damn! That's one HELLUVA deal! Seriously tempted to sell off my 480 and grab one of these, as DMC5 was a pretty sure buy from me anyway, and also enjoyed The Divison immensely. It's basically like a free performance increase and warranty refresh.

If only you did what I said and picked up a £459 V64 on launch day, would have had a glorious 15 months gaming time for the huge earth shattering price of an extra £60 :p:D

haha :D

But nah I don't regret that at all, more than what I am willing to pay (and certainly not willing to spend that on a reference card, let alone for a vega card) and tbh, still very reluctant to pay more than £300 (got my 290 for £310 [with 4 games! Which were sold on for about £30/40 iirc] which at the time was top dog except for nvidia's titan and the 290x) as I hardly game at all on my PC now especially with having a ps 4 pro now.

I think a powercolour vega 56 with those games for £300 would be pretty sweet though..... But as gibbo has said, those good/higher end models won't be budging on price.....
