I'm personally waiting for:

LG LM270WQA (panel name), 2560x1440, 1ms G2G, 165Hz, ETA mid 2019 ;)

More info here: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/monitor_panel_parts.htm

Sounds like they're releasing the top end nano-IPS screens first e.g. LM340UW5 (panel name), as LG 34GK950F / LG 34GK950G (monitor names).

Maybe worth waiting a few months / 6 months to see what 2019 brings.

1ms-rated full sRBG IPS at 165Hz does sound very promising, but isn't Q2 2019 the expected date of panel manufacture? What would be the added wait time on top of that before we see monitors using this panel actually shipping? Too long for me to wait!

I'm hoping to see reductions on some of the current 165Hz IPS G-sync displays or the XF270HUA and a Vega 64 (which given the focus of this thread seems more likely).

whilst that is not a gpu i am personally interested in, if the price is right and you are a 1080p gamer, then i guess it has to be considered... and look at that game bundle. i would happily own all 3 of those games!.

that said if i am going to be a nay sayer, i do feel like AMD have been treading water for too long now..... how much faster is this gpu than the R290X for instance, and how long ago did that come out.?

Oooooo a card coming out around the same price and performance as something we have had for years and years! Yay, how exciting!

The absolute state of the graphics card market at the moment..wow
