*****20% VAT CASH BACK OFFER*****

1.1) This mail-in rebate offer is valid only on purchases of the MSI P67A-GD65 made during the promotion period of January 9th to January 17th 2011 inclusive. The date on the original invoice must clearly state the purchase date.

if i ordered last night am i still eligible for the rebate?

yes, we launched the promotion early in response to the early product launch, the available stock quantity is fixed so as long as the invoice is dated before the 17th it will be fine.

sorry for the confusion, the T&C's were written weeks ago

That's great news thanks. Been some great deals recently at OCUK. I was getting worried I wouldn't be getting many of my components here but so far the majority have been

Ok, thanks for make this clear! sound a pretty good.

Oh no, my mind kept saying "buy now and get a good deal of this board with i7 2600k and a geil memory" but my heart say "No, kept your i7 920 and kept your money!"

What shall I do OCUK ?

Buy it Bulldog147. If you're not happy, then, re-sell it(Email in Trust). If your happy, sell your 1366 kit. :D

Msi need a deal like this to get customers buying their motherboards again, as of late they have been very poor.

Msi have made a big push with their products as of late, so thism may be a winner.

Please don't start the "rebate" crap, I had enough of that rubbish when I was in Canada. I'm sure OcUK could easily just give you the sales figures and you could reimburse them yourself instead of making your consumers having to do it and then having to pay one of your guys to process everything, much more time consuming and expensive. Sorry to be blunt but it's true ,if you want to offer something, offer it. Don't impose conditions/cut corners.

Just when I thought it it was safe to go back in the water...I just read this:

"Only one rebate per qualifying purchase and limit one rebate per household"

So as I have bought one for myself one one for my fiancee, I can only get a rebate on one of the boards...hmmm now what do I do?

Send it to another family members/friends house and use a difference debit/cc card ?

3.3) The rebate you will receive will be 20% of your original invoice amount including VAT up to a maximum of £23.33. Shipping is not included in the rebate. (Based on RRP of £139.99inc.VAT)

Does this infact then mean, that you won't quite get the 20% back?

Yep based on the OCUK price it should be nearly £30. Looks like I've got no choice but to DSR :( Teach me to wait for the full terms to be stated before ordering next time...

I think that it means that they will refund the 20% VAT cost, not 20% of the full cost of the item. That should be £24.16 based on the OCUK price. With the maximum £23.33 it will come up short by 83p.

EDIT.
Actually - if you apply the novatrise discount you get 2.03% off the price so only pay £23.67 in VAT so it's on;y 35p short. :-)
