*****20% VAT CASH BACK OFFER*****

I think that it means that they will refund the 20% VAT cost, not 20% of the full cost of the item. That should be £24.16 based on the OCUK price. With the maximum £23.33 it will come up short by 83p.

EDIT.
Actually - if you apply the novatrise discount you get 2.03% off the price so only pay £23.67 in VAT so it's on;y 35p short. :-)

who cares tbh.

this works after we have ordered if I am reading correctly?

Only I did not see this post until after I had placed my order and I ordered an MSI board

Don't be cos i7 1366 are the best one! Better than sandybridge!

Agreed other than the power saving of Sandy Bridge the reviews seem to show 1366 (X58) edging it. But for gaming/normal type use 1155 is now the good value platform especially with close to 1366 performance:)

I don't think this would be intentional but it is slightly misleading. We aren't getting 20% VAT back.

MSI are only going to refund £23.33. You should change the name to just Cash Back so as not to be accused of misleading people. However unintentional it may have been.

It's a good offer but I also agree that this would be a better offer even if it was just a straight £15 discount code or something.

Cash Back is used because company's know some people will either forget or not bother and that's why it isn't popular in the UK.

Still, something off is better than nothing off :)

FYI, demand was higher than expected and OcUK sold out, but don't fear, there is more stock due in a couple of days so you can still get your board before the end of the promotion! :D

Blimey, checked this morning and it said >10 in stock, seem to be very popular :) So if I put a pre-order in now I'll be guaranteed one from the stock due Wednesday? Only want to order if I know I'm going to get the 20% VAT back

Cheers

bleh again delivery prices ruin a good deal.I just put it in my basket and its costing £159!!!!!! £15 to deliver a motherboard WTF even with the £20 off its only a saving off £3 odd over the competition and i would have to fill in forms and wait on the money back :( no chance im paying that money lads sorry.
