I am pretty sure about this, now you can correct me if i am wrong, but an F1 driver, they have their left foot on something, what's it called again, Ohhh yeah, a brake pedal. ;)

Ahh, i did forgot that F1 was a nice orderly parade behind some shiny red cars rather than a motor sport.

I'm not a fan of anyone, I haven't been since the early 90's when Mansell retired - I just enjoy good racing. That was good racing, and the FIA have spoiled it with a poor decision.

Even if I was the biggest Ferrari die-hard fan in the world I wouldn't be ecstatic about this decision, it can't be seen as good for the sport.

Apart from the fact that the championship is even closer now, so surely that is better for the sport unless u are a LH/Mclaren fan of course.

No, it's better for the sport if battles are fought ON the track not in the stewards office.

Lets face it Hamilton was in a lose-lose situation, even if he had stayed on track and smashed Kimi for cutting him up he would've got a 10 place grid penalty in Monza, not that it happens when Kimi ruins someones race around Monaco.

would you be happy going to a football match and after it was finished the governing body turned round and said 'actually, the other team won, dont worry though its made the championship closer!'

He didn't give the place back in France and got punished. I didn't like it at the time but accepted it and that was that.

This time he gave the place back but also still got punished.

I hope McLaren really kicks up a stink about this. What's the point in competing? The FIA need to give them a reason to bother turning up at Monza.

I hope they don't though. I hope McLaren and Hamilton continue to knock two shades of absolute ******* **** out of Massa and Ferrari in the remaining 5 races. Given Massa has serious confidence issues as a racing driver and will probably buckle from the pressure I suspect that won't be terribly hard to do.

So, moral of the story is, next time you are nose to nose with another car under braking into a tight corner then you will lose out.

Go wide or cut and you will be penalised for using run-off to your advantage, hit the other car and you will be penalised for causing a racing incident.

Bet Ron Dennis won't be in a fantastic mood tonight after that little lot.

Some closer scores might be more exciting, but the fact that is has occurred due to such a idiotic decision as this more than counters anything *good* about it.

I hope McLaren get this reversed. Massa does not deserve the win at all.
