Bet he doesnt give a **** whats happened - he probably busy trying to find a beer...
Vodka and RB surely? And that's why I like Kimi, just a bloke with a really good job. :)

Oh well. At least the anti-Ferrari brigade can safely store their tin foil hats for a few months before giving them a dusting for 09. :p

Congtrats to LH but I do feel bad for Massa, I imagine he already realises that's probably the closest he'll ever get to a WDC.

Tell you something - someone needs to slap Kubica around the head a bit.

Been getting increasingly unimpressed with him all year. Good driver maybe but he's done nothing but ***** and moan about his car and team all season, despite them making huge strides. BMW have to balance their development of this year's car with their efforts for next year but Kubica didn't give a toss about that and saw fit to diss the team in public because he felt they weren't "getting behind" his title challenge.

Now, at the last race and in the midst of the title battle, he sees fit to be totally selfish again and unlap himself amongst the title contenders - leading directly to Vettel getting past Lewis. Had Lewis lost the championship I'd have held Kubica directly responsible for that selfish act. Anyone with any modicum of common sense and manners would have stayed back and out of it.

Watching the interview I just dont get where the "Hamilton is arrogant" label comes from?
Im really not trying to start a row, but he was dedicating it to his dad and his brother for all their hard work and saying how they were his inspiration etc etc.

I always think hes the complete opposite of arrogant and that interview just confirmed that for me.

I agree ^

I think its because he believes in himself, some people take it the wrong way. I dont think in his position he could ever say anything right, everyone will always jump on what he says.

As much as that makes me laugh i cant help but feel sorry for them.

Agreed.

It would have been brilliant for Massa to win it at his home race like that. I really realy hope he gets a title soon, he deserves it.

You do have to wonder though, the entire world saw Hamilton pass Glock and cross the line with a 5 next to his name... how did the entire Ferrari garage miss it?

On the track you HAVE to have some arrogance to be a real champion. Look at Senna, Prost and Schumacher - all 3 proved that they would do what was required to win and that was their focus. Damon Hill was a nice guy and only won one title. MS wasn't and won 7. Ok, MS was carrying more talent but even so, had Hill actually had a pair then he may of added a 2nd or 3rd title.

In real life, he is a different chap and that's the good thing about him. He has had pressure on him way above his age. MS/Senna/Prost even Alonso had all had 2, 3 or 4 full seasons in F1 before becoming champions, not one of them came even CLOSE in their rookie year, let alone just 1 point off. None of them had won it at 23 and if you go by MS, Hamilton has another 13 years to rack up a lot more wins.

there was no reason for them to think, with 2 corners to go and all running fine, that massa wouldnt win it. when hamilton was 6th and it was near the end of the race, they started celebrating, not paying attention to the rest of the race!

In all the heat of the battle, this got missed.

Could not agree more.

Will Kova be at Mclaren next season? Surely they can't be happy with his performances.

Depends is 'Happy' means scoring pleanty of constructor points and being fast, or 'Happy' means not beating Lewis, not causing arguments, not screwing the team over and not esing up their chances of winning anything.

In one case, they will be extatic at his performance

After watching the highlights again its clear why Glock had no pace in the end.

Hi's final pit stop was 35 laps to go, yes, thats 35 laps, out of 71 He pitted and fueled to the end. So but the last few laps his dry tires would have been like the good old slicks back in the days with almost no groves at all in them, add in a bit of rain and you'll have a car sliding like it's on ice.

Awesome ending to a race/season, you couldn't make it up, it makes Hollywood movies seem believable.

Looking forward to seeing next years cars now. Should be interesting with real slicks, different down force packages and TURBO BOOST! lol well small tiny boost.

Just... :D

A full season comes down to the last corner. I doubt we'll see another like it for alooong time.

Massa no doubt a great driver and a modest one too. Lewis getting unfair stick from all quarters. Very strange.

Still over two seasons he's amassed the most points so I think he was due.

Oh and congrats to one idiot here who became the first person ever on my ignore list. :)

Oh and Wooohooo!

Think it would be a mix of both.

Someone who qualifies well, scores plenty of points and gets a win now and again. But also knows they are No.2 and not do an Alonso.
