shamelessly copied from pistonheads, but this really sums it up - so sad
I think the guys who ran the city have now moved to betting on F1

Clearly another sad day for F1. Anyone who remembers Monaco last year will recall a ridiculously late brake by Raikonen causing total destruction of Sutil's car. No penalty, no apology, nothing. A post race penalty against Massa for his pit lane incident a few races back results in a small fine, yet post race penalties against Hammy and Bourdais result in a time penalty. Putting aside any suggestion of bias, the inconsistency not only of judgements, but also of penalties handed out is destroying the sport. In what other sport do we need to wait until 2 hours after the end to know the final result?
As for first corner incidents, there is rarely a race when somebody, somewhere in the field is not pushed wide, this is part of the sport and dare I say it, one of the most exciting parts of many races.
and there are too many other examples
