I'll be staying up tonight to watch Sky News HD on the results as they come in!

Stocked up on caffeine products in advance :p

And how would you suggest the poor become richer? there isn't a lot of jobs out there right now, let alone good paying jobs.

I'm all for getting people off benefits but unless the government comes out and sticks up for people jobs and help rebuild the industry that's already left there isn't a lot of choice for people.
I absolutely hear where you're coming from, it isn't easy for people who are unemployed. However, everyone can better themselves and improve their chances to get a job. Or even start your own business.

The one thing we shouldn't do is to rely on the government to provide more jobs in the public sector, that just increases the problem as it takes money away from the government and provides no product for export that can bring money into the country which is the main goal of any economy.

Voting Conservative in Scotland is a bit like not voting at all for all the influence it will have :D

Perhaps, but they are the party that I have the greatest support for and like their policies more than the other lot.

The only thing I really wish they would pick up is the pledge for PR but that's not going to happen eh?

I could never vote for Labour, Lib Dem or SNP and nor do I fancy going for one of those 'fringe' parties.
Maybe in time, my vote will start to mean something! Let's just wait for the results, you never know...

Just got back from voting - Conservative for me.

Would like to stay up for the beginning of the results coming in but I have an early morning tomorrow.

What is interesting is that we had people collecting voter's numbers outside the door of the voting station.. I refused (if I vote or not is up to me, if I attend or not is irrelevant too).

What I will say is that I have pizza, crisps and beer in... now to watch the 'shock' of the labour party as the conservatives drop into power..

Voted Labour because the local Tory council here has been awful, it's one of the job for life places. I ignored all my feelings towards any of main party leaders to focus on the local issues.

I'll get my coat...

Probably been asked a million times but when do we find out result?

As mentioned the results come out at around 22.45 but they trickle in... I've never stayed up late enough to see the final result as they sometimes go beyond 4am.

If you want an indicator you can use the OcUK poll + others that I've found.

DigitalSpy Forum = 1000+ votes atm
Studentroom = Locked Until 10pm (Obviously give you idea of younger voters opinions)

+Labour voters - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7HYqkBvtHk I chuckled at him wearing nazi uniforms...

By 3-4 o'clock in the morning unless they are so close that it requires a re-count then around 7 in the morning, I know this because my missus has the unfortunate duty of being in a polling doo dah since 6 this morning then having to help count.

With the current results of the poll (Con - 40.2%, Lab - 13.0%, LD - 30.8%), the Conservatives will have a majority of 132 seats.
